Two For Tuesday: Jaybrake Motorcycle Floorboards, Pegs, and Brake Pedals

Today’s Two for Tuesday post features Jaybrake’s Trac Series — a unique combination of floorboards, passenger pegs, brake pedals and shifter pegs that were designed in response to the boring and uninspiring stock floor boards that come on baggers and FL Softails. As you can see from the images included in today’s post, Jaybreak took matters into their own hands when they designed these sinister-looking floorboards and motorcycle pegs.

Focusing on Jaybreak’s floorboards first, there’s a great deal of function associated with these spiked bad boys. The studs help hold your feet in place on long rides, reducing fatigue in your legs and feet, while the studs are placed so that your boot doesn’t contact the aluminum board, which essentially limits the amount of wear on the chrome or anodized surface ensuring that the boards will look like new for a long time to come.

Jaybreak also designed rubber isolator mounts that fit right into the stock floorboard pan, which means not only a quick install but it also helps keep vibration out of your feet.

Developed in four different styles and with matching passenger pegs, brake pedals and shift pegs, you can outfit your ride with these spiked Jaybrake pieces and be riding in comfort and style all year long.

As you might have guessed, we carry the full line of Jaybreak Trac Series products, many of which are available at discounted prices for J&P Gold Club members.

Patrick Garvin began his stint with J&P Cycles at the start of 2008 after doing some installs for us at Daytona and Sturgis for two years. Currently, Patrick splits his time between the eCommerce team and purchasing, finding new and exciting products for our website and catalog. When he’s not at his desk, he’s zigzagging across the country with J&P’s event crew. Patrick has an obsession with going fast on just about anything, a trait he shares with his 6-year-old son Race. You can usually find both of them wrenching in the garage or ripping through the fields on dirt bikes. Emma, his beautiful wife of 7-plus years, puts up with his antics and keeps his head screwed on because he certainly wouldn’t be able to find it without her.
