Two for Tuesday: Get Geared up for Spring with Sick Boy

Most of us across the country, with the exception of a few lucky states, are still freezing our rear ends off. Spring being just around the corner, and with it a new riding season, now’s a great time to consider what you’ll be wearing when it’s time to layer up on your motorcycle clothing. That’s where the Sick Boy Motorcycles come into the picture, offering up all kinds of options from sweatshirts, t-shirts, and gloves, to hats and bandanas and more for both men and women. According to Sick Boy, if they don’t make it, you don’t need it.

Sick Boy’s Motorcycle Factory Thermal is a great place to start when buying layers for that first chilly spring ride, but if you need a little more, grab the Sparkplug Hoodie (pictured below) and hit the pavement. Both are also great for working in a chilly garage to finish turning wrenches so you can get back on the road.

You may be thinking to yourself that you don’t need one of these fine pieces from Sick Boy and that you have plenty sweatshirts and t-shirts to keep you warm. That’s all well and good if you want to be cruising around on your pimped out ride looking like you dressed yourself at a farm supply store. Let’s face it… you know your gonna find your way to the local watering hole and when you do, you need to be looking as good as the bike you just spent obsessing over in your garage for the last four months. So do yourself a favor and get some of the gear from Sick Boy and save yourself the embarrassment of looking like Elmer Fudd on a chopper.

About the Author:

Patrick Garvin began his stint with J&P Cycles at the start of 2008 after doing some installs for us at Daytona and Sturgis for two years. Currently, Patrick splits his time between the eCommerce team and purchasing, finding new and exciting products for our website and catalog. When he’s not at his desk, he’s zigzagging across the country with J&P’s event crew. Patrick has an obsession with going fast on just about anything, a trait he shares with his 6-year-old son Race. You can usually find both of them wrenching in the garage or ripping through the fields on dirt bikes. Emma, his beautiful wife of 7-plus years, puts up with his antics and keeps his head screwed on because he certainly wouldn’t be able to find it without her.
