Paul Jr. Designs Unveils a New Chopper at J&P in Florida – [VIDEO]

Paul Teutul Jr., co-star of the Discovery Channel’s “American Chopper: Sr. Versus Jr.”, rolled onto a stage at our Ormond Beach, Fla., store last Friday with one of two custom Harley-Davidson motorcycles he designed for CrankyApe.com.

The long-touted unveiling occurred in the middle of Bike Week at our Destination Daytona store with thousands of Paul Jr. fans on hand to get a first-hand look at the blue custom-made motorcycle created especially for CrankyApe.com, the online powersport auction company. Sturgis 2010 Draws to a Close With (Probably) Record Crowds

Today, Sturgis sits there like a bad hangover, the flash of chrome and rumble of bikes replaced by dusty parking lots and littered campgrounds. Another successful event is in the books, leaving me with a few thoughts about this year’s rally and a tremendous urge to get back home.

It was a record year, according to most accounts, with attendance numbers like 600,000 to 800,000 being tossed around by the folks who should know such things. Counting crowds is a nebulous business at best, with possibly the worst suggestion I ever heard requiring an accurate count of all the feet and then dividing by two. It’s like percentages. BREAKING NEWS: Paul Jr. Is Back!

You either love them or you hate them, but no matter your opinion, you know who they are. Over the years, American Chopper’s own Paul Teutul Sr. and Paul Teutul Jr. have brought an explosive brand of television into many of our homes. The feuding, arguing, and destruction of office doors, managed to bring custom bike building and motorcycles in general into the consciousness of folks who otherwise wouldn’t have been one bit interested.

Their split was a public affair just over a year ago and the TV show was all but left for dead, leaving fans with the question of what, exactly, would become of the Teutuls.
