When she isn’t at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends by traveling, taking photographs, and attending concerts whenever possible!

Music is as important to me as breathing is. There isn’t a second that goes by in my day where I’m not humming or thinking of a song. I love to ride any chance I get, but I have been known to refuse to go riding if I can’t locate my iPod – ha ha. There’s just something about hearing your favorite song while riding down the highway that really makes the trip more enjoyable and definitely let’s your inner badass come out! I don’t know about you, but I can probably name off a huge list in less than five minutes of my favorite songs to listen to when I ride my motorcycle. Here’s just a short compilation of some of my favorites to hear while out riding, feel free to download them from iTunes or give them a listen via YouTube if you haven’t heard them before:

  • Alice in Chains “Man in the Box”
  • Audioslave “Like a Stone”
  • Alice Cooper “Mr. Nice Guy”
  • Kansas “Carry on my Wayward Son”
  • Red Hot Chili Peppers “Scar Tissue”
  • Beastie Boys “(You Gotta)Fight for Your Right(To Party)”
  • Rob Zombie “Dragula” or “Living Dead Girl”
  • Golden Earring “Radar Love”
  • Billy Idol “Rebel Yell”
  • Uriah Heep “Lady In Black”
  • Black Sabbath “Paranoid”
  • In Flames “Alias”
  • Ram Jam “Black Betty”
  • Rolling Stones “Miss You”

So my question to you is, what’s YOUR favorite song to hear while out being a road warrior? We here at J&P Cycles want to know what motivates you when you’re out riding! Tell us about your list of awesome music and post below in the comment section!

My favorite sorry is by Harley Davidson, I can ride for hours and never get tired of hearing the many awesome sounds my engine puts out. It’s music to my ears.

I’m the opposite, I like the wind and the sounds of the road. I find music can be a distraction from safe riding. It tends to occupy my thoughts, lots of good times and bad can be brought out by just one song.
Pulling up beside a rider with music blaring is like having a nice peaceful spot on a beach, listening to the surf, ruined by someone showing up with a boom box.
But that’s the reason they make so many different type bikes, we all like something different. Enjoy your rides. Take a ride down to Santa Fe through Cimarron and Taos on 64, I have and it’s worth it. Bill
