Revolutionary Tire Sealant from Ride-On – [VIDEO]

There are a couple of things I prefer not happen to me while perched atop my faithful machine. One of them is getting a flat tire. The idea of picking up a nail or some other form of road shrapnel bothers me for two reasons: One, most of the time I’m clipping along at a good rate of speed, and the thought of sharp debris attaching itself to one of my tires and shredding it into tiny pieces while I am hurling myself through a corner is upsetting to say the least.

Two, if I manage to survive the tire blowout unscathed, there’s the less dramatic issue of being in the middle of nowhere, pushing my bike. Or worse yet, have to explain to my wife where I am and why she needs to stop everything she’s doing and come get me. Actually, this last scenario is much scarier than the initial blowout.

Just so you don’t think I’m rambling on aimlessly here, there’s a purpose behind my back story: While at Dealer Expo earlier this year in Indianapolis, our crack team of product specialists ran across a little item that, at first glance, you might think you’ve seen before. You haven’t. The folks at Ride-On have developed a new tire sealant that serves a dual purpose. It’s a preventative sealant that goes in the tire and stays there until the tire is punctured. That’s when it goes to work and instantly seals the tire from the inside out! The added bonus is that it also hydrodynamically balances the tire for the life of the tire. And as if that wasn’t enough, when you go to remove the tire, there’s no mess! Don’t believe us? Check out these two videos.

Currently, Patrick splits his time between the eCommerce team and purchasing, finding new and exciting products for our website and catalog. When he’s not at his desk, he’s zigzagging across the country with J&P’s event crew. Patrick has an obsession with going fast on just about anything, a trait he shares with his 6-year-old son Race. You can usually find both of them wrenching in the garage or ripping through the fields on dirt bikes. Emma, his beautiful wife of 7-plus years, puts up with his antics and keeps his head screwed on because he certainly wouldn’t be able to find it without her.
