J&P Reports From Biketoberfest in Daytona Beach

Once again the biker version of the “fall classic” is here and in full swing. We’re set up on the corner of Interstate 95 and Highway 1 and we’re showing off enough  biker swag to impress even the most veteran of motorcycle show attendees. Biketoberfest 2010 is in full swing at Daytona Beach, Fla., with events planned all the way through Sunday, October 17.

And your friends at J&P are here live and in color featuring equipment from vendors like Memphis Shades, Kuryakyn, Battistinis, Mustang Seats, and more. We’re even offering up a preview peek sneak at some of next year’s new products! Take, for instance, the new Hogtunes stereo setup for the Memphis Shades batwing fairings. That’s right. We’ve got it on display at Biketoberfest 2010.

More and more bikes are rolling in each day and we couldn’t have asked for better weather — you know, mid-’80s, nothing but sunshine. Great way to enjoy the last big rally of the season. So far, we’ve seen an ocean of custom bikes, from choppers to baggers, sportbikes and Goldwings.  And it’s not even the weekend yet!

Get on the phone and call in sick.

About the Author:

Patrick Garvin began his stint with J&P Cycles at the start of 2008 after doing some installs for us at Daytona and Sturgis for two years. Currently, Patrick splits his time between the eCommerce team and purchasing, finding new and exciting products for our website and catalog. When he’s not at his desk, he’s zigzagging across the country with J&P’s event crew. Patrick has an obsession with going fast on just about anything, a trait he shares with his 6-year-old son Race. You can usually find both of them wrenching in the garage or ripping through the fields on dirt bikes. Emma, his beautiful wife of 7-plus years, puts up with his antics and keeps his head screwed on because he certainly wouldn’t be able to find it without her.
