Hey Folks, I would like to say that there are people in every group that can only find the worst of that situation, and some that can see only the best of a situation. I’ve been going to Daytona for 37 years, and it’s getting better every year. AND YES, some riders get tickets, and some cars get tickets too. I’ve had loud bikes, and regular mufflers. I’ve not gotten a ticket yet. BUT I haven’t tried to go 100 in a 35MPH zone with a million riders in front of me. Maybe that dude deserved a ticket. And most all the Cops are friendly and just trying to make sure every body gets the opportunity to have a good time and go home safely.

I agree the cops were very friendly! They are here to keep everyone safe. Daytona Bike Week this year was a blast we are counting down the days until Biketoberfest, hope to see you there!

Hello I didn’t get to go. But I heard that the Cops were writeing a lot of tickets for loud pipes. Plus I heard this was the last year for Bike Week. That the Town of Daytona Beach didn’t want to continue Bike Week anymore. People are moving there and are trying to change things to suit them. Apparently they are not bikers.. keep up the Good Work J & P

Thanks! We haven’t heard anything like that but we sure hope Bike Week keeps on going! Hope to see you at Biketoberfest or Sturgis, have a great day on 2 wheels!

Yes bikers flooded Daytona Beach and Daytona Police Department is ticketing everybody with loud pipes..and yards away same Dpt is asking for money to bikers for fallen officers……Last BikeWeek for me……bikers bring more money than race cars and thats the way the Mayor salute the bikers. With a ticket for load pipes…when you can hear a race on the speedway for miles or even the music in Main St silence the mufflers at street level…but yes the officers can hear different sound levels without any device…please.

Thanks for the love for the Speedway! I always say there is more to Bike Week than Main Street and you just proved it. J&P Cycles always has the best setup and the selection is just like being at the store in Ormond Beach!
