2014 Hot Rods & Harleys Cruise Night Series Ends with Cedar Rapids Woman Winning Customized Bike

Suspense filled the air as 60 finalists gathered around a customized 2005 Harley-Davidson Road King on Thursday night, Sept. 11, for a chance to choose a key and possibly start the giveaway machine as part of the final 2014 Hot Rods & Harleys Cruise Night series. With 60 finalists, that meant there was one real key along with 59 fake ones. When No. 2 Liza Smith of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, handed her key over to Jay Cassill of Cassill Motors, the grin on his face as he turned the key said it all – Liza was the lucky winner of the motorcycle.

This year, the Hot Rods & Harleys Cruise Night presented by J&P Cycles, Chrome Horse Saloon, Cassill Motors, Bud Light and KRNA, encorporated the bike giveaway as an added bonus to those attending each event. The series, which started in May, chose 15 bike giveaway finalists at each event through August who then gathered for a chance to win the sweet ride.

Congratulations, Liza! Stay tuned for additional information regarding the 2015 Hot Rods & Harleys Cruise Night series!
