Harley-Davidson Going All Electric In 2017

That’s right the iconic all American brand has made the big switch from gas powered monstrosities to all electric motorcycles. Harley-Davidson will be giving Zero Motorcycles a run for their money and they plan on doing it big. Expect to see an Electric Glide, electric big wheel bagger, and sportE coming soon.

Oh and April fools! Thankfully Harley-Davidson will still be producing the motorcycles we all know and love, but the Live Wire is still pretty rad.

If it were true then they would have to change the standard HD tool kit. It would be to hard to work on the electrical components with a monkey wrench and a 5lb hammer.

Fuckers I just threw a beer at a hippie for that shitt ltitle stunt. I would miss the bragging rights that harley is the only one that makes motorcycles. Everyone else makes scooters. I got drag pipes with no baffles on my fatboy. I like making soccer mom’s scream and babies cry when ya hit the ignition. Let the japs keep their little rice rockets. You don’t have to be fast when you own the road.

I actually test road one of these Project Live Wire H-D cycles and even though I won’t ever give up my gas powered 2010 Dyna FXD Super Glide, these electric cycles will definitely have a place. Would be a perfect bike for college kids to get around town and campus. Would be a really cool bike to just cruise around the inner cities and even down back country roads. Handles easy and has serious power and pickup. And yes, when you push the on button there is no sound so you won’t even know it’s on! LOL
A neat bike from H-D just the same!

For H-D purists, not to worry Porsche will continue making the v-rod at their secret factory.
