In 2013, the Cedar Rapids Eagle Riders first held their annual fundraiser for the Iowa Chapter of Paralyzed Veterans of America (IPVA).
Almost one year ago, the Eagle Riders decided to expand its fundraising efforts by publishing a mobile app that can be used as a year round tool to educate the public on what the IPVA does to help and support veterans as well as increase donations.
By downloading this app, at a cost of $2.99, you will be donating to the Iowa Chapter of Paralyzed Veterans of America. Fifty percent of the net proceeds from every download is donated to Iowa PVA.
The app will keep you informed of IPVA fundraising events and provide app users a way to donate directly to the IPVA. All donations made to the IPVA through the app will stay in Iowa to support Iowa’s vets. Eighty percent of the proceeds will be spent directly on Iowa veterans’ programs.
J&P Cycles will be the launching point for the All American Bash Ride and Party to be held on July 25, 2015. Riders will gather at 10 a.m. at the J&P Cycles showroom in Anamosa, with the party starting around 3 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
