In fact, Daytona Beach is rated as one of the top 10 most beautiful beaches in the United States, offering more than 23 miles of white sandy beaches with options for great fishing, surfing and night life. In addition to its beaches, Daytona offers an abundance of shopping, dining and entertainment experiences. Some of the must see attractions include Daytona Lagoon Water Park, The Daytona 500 Experience, Ponce de Leon Lighthouse and Daytona’s very own Main Street .

And if it’s the feel of the open road that is one of your priorities, the Daytona Beach area is a great jumping-off spot for hundreds of miles of ocean-view riding along the Atlantic coast. It’s true that Florida’s roads aren’t big on twisty curves or elevation changes, but they do have a year-round riding season and beautiful scenery. A favorite Daytona ride is “The Loop,” a 23-mile stretch of road where riders can get a close look of the beautiful ecosystems only Florida has to offer.
Destination Daytona is another reason why people call Daytona Beach the motorcycle capital of the world. Destination Dayton features more than 150 acres of amenities that are there for one reason: To entertain the motorcycle enthusiast. Located just off I-95 and US-1 in Ormond Beach, Destination Daytona features the largest Harley-Davidson dealership in the world. Bruce Rossmeyer’s Daytona Harley-Davidson features the Coca-Cola amphitheatre, restaurants, bars and an enormous vending area for Bike Week and Biketoberfest.
