Editor’s Note: Joan Krenning purchased her first motorcycle, a brand new Harley-Davidson Softail Custom in 1986. In February of this year she launched on a 36-month motorcycle tour of America that she calls, the Glory US-A Freedom Ride. Riding a 2013 Street Glide wrapped in graphics of the Constitution of the United States, the Declaration of Independence and quotes from Abraham Lincoln about equality, her purpose is three-fold: to promote the purchase of all made in American products, to passionately defend our Bill of Rights and the rights of all Americans and to inspire hope.

Editor’s Note: Mike McGuire is a tech chatter in the Destination Daytona SuperStore. He’s been with J&P since December 2010, where he started as a phone tech. A Harley-Davidson tech, Mike has a master of chassis certification from Harley-Davidson. Originally from Michigan, he graduated cum laude from Walsh College in Michigan, where he received his bachelor’s degree in business administration. He is also a graduate of the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute. Before joining the motorcycle industry, Mike worked in design and building of tooling and fixtures for the automotive industry.

Editor’s Note: J&P Cycles Iowa Showroom Sales Tech Merrill Bonney started with J&P back in May of 1999 as a phone sales representative. During that year’s Sturgis Rally, he worked in the showroom and after the event stayed there, moving onto to a sales tech. Prior to joining J&P, Merrill worked in the auto parts business for 25 years.

There is a potential major issue in the Harley-Davidson Twin-Cam engines. This is a statement of fact, not a bunch of wild guesses. I’m not here to bash Mother Harley, but you should be educated to its causes, and possible solutions.
