One of the big issues we always have here at J&P Cycles is trying to make sure we have a good offering of parts for our customers to choose from. This may seem easy to some, but it usually turns out to be a real challenge. There are a lot of things to consider when adding parts into the product line. We want to make sure we offer parts that have a purpose and meet a need. We want to make sure they are of good quality and that they fit correctly. We want to make sure that the vendor stands behind their product and can deliver it in a … Continue Reading
The 2014 Daytona Bike Week is in the books, but we had such a great time that we had to share just how awesome it was! Attendance was up at our J&P Cycles Destination Daytona Superstore and despite the construction at the Speedway, we saw quite a few folks come through and check out the J&P Cycles mobile showroom.
Bike Week 2014 started off rainy and miserable, but then the skies cleared up and the sun came out. And so did the bikes! Main Street was packed as usual with vendors, bars, bikes and babes lining the fabled stretch of asphalt night-after-night and day-after-day. Anyone who knows Daytona will tell … Continue Reading

Instead of playing with baby dolls like other little girls her age, J&P Cycles Product Merchant Support April Ludeke spent her childhood days riding go-carts and playing in the dirt with her older siblings. A self-proclaimed Tomboy, there wasn’t much a Band-Aid couldn’t fix.
As a toddler, April rode around her hometown on the gas tank of her dad’s Honda Gold Wing. He always told her, “If you can reach you can ride.” To this day, she takes that expression to heart as she grips the ape hangers on her 2006 Dyna Wide Glide, which she named Walter, because it sounded like a reliable old man that would … Continue Reading

Editor’s Note: Last month we introduced you to our most recent project of updating four bikes: a 2012 Sportster® XL1200V (72), a 2013 Softail® FLS (Slim), a 2012 FLHTCUTG Tri-Glide® and a 2012 Goldwing GL1800P, here. We have been busy in the last month! Here is a low down on the work done.
To characterize the work surrounding the projects as hectic would be like referring to LeBron James as a forward for the Miami Heat. While true, it just doesn’t tell the whole story.
Progress has been incredible, especially when you consider there are four bikes in the process at the same time. … Continue Reading
Greetings everyone and welcome to 2013! First off, thank you for the support and comment posts on my last blog entries. It’s great to hear from you! Believe it or not, I read each and every comment and had a blast doing it. Now, let’s get down to business, shall we? We’re going to leave the worlds of motorcycling philosophy and needling popular culture behind for a while and get down to why you’re here, and I have a job…BIKES!

It’s pretty hard to improve on perfection, but our second-ever Gold Wing catalog makes it two winners in a row — and it didn’t hurt at all that we added 16 new pages of everything Wing. This is a fairly new publication for us, and in fact, it’s only the second time we have produced a Gold Wing-specific catalog. The Powers That Be here at J&P were so pleased with the way everyone received Volume I they decided to keep it going. Good decision!
