Editor’s Note: Joan Krenning purchased her first motorcycle, a brand new Harley-Davidson Softail Custom in 1986. In February of this year she launched on a 36-month motorcycle tour of America that she calls, the Glory US-A Freedom Ride. Riding a 2013 Street Glide wrapped in graphics of the Constitution of the United States, the Declaration of Independence and quotes from Abraham Lincoln about equality, her purpose is three-fold: to promote the purchase of all made in American products, to passionately defend our Bill of Rights and the rights of all Americans and to inspire hope.
You won’t find any velvet ropes surrounding the bikes at Willie’s Tropical Tattoo Old School Chopper Show during Daytona Bike Week. In this video we give you access to an old school anti-establishment bike show dripping with American ingenuity and craftsmanship. It’s all about fun bikes built to ride by people who love motorcycles – enjoy!
Bike Week signifies the beginning of the riding season for many riders across the nation. Attending the event stirs up the senses and resurrects the feeling of freedom that can only be obtained on a motorcycle traveling the open road. One of the only things that can make that feeling better is sharing the road with fellow riders and enthusiasts who share the passion for anything on two wheels!
This year’s Bike Week did not fail to satisfy. Thousands of riders made their way to Daytona Beach, Florida to celebrate their love of motorcycles. The J&P Cycles Destination Daytona Superstore lot was filled with vendors eager to meet the crowds … Continue Reading

It’s time to step out of our usual V-Twin cruiser niche and take a look at another aspect of the motorcycling universe. Last weekend I went to the AMA Monster Energy Supercross in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a traveling circus that crisscrosses the country for 16 weeks culminating in the season finale in Las Vegas.
Supercross, for those not familiar, is basically a condensed version of motocross that is held in everything from football stadiums to the tri-oval at Daytona International Speedway. It features close racing, lots of bar banging and high flying jumps. This is a young man’s sport in which some of the best athletes in the world … Continue Reading
