Since the early 1990′s J&P Cycles has had a loyalty program honoring our best customers. Over the last 20-plus years, the program has changed, grown and gotten progressively better. Recently, another revamp of the program took place that added some new bonuses for our Gold Club Members.

Despite the stray snowflakes falling from the sky in parts of the Midwest today, it really is spring! At the J&P Cycles headquarters in Eastern Iowa, we’re gearing up for our first motorcycle event of the season. Our usual Cruise Night event has a new name – Hot Rods & Harleys Cruise Night – sponsored by J&P Cycles, and a new location at the Chrome Horse Saloon in Cedar Rapids.
If you’re in the area, cruise in with your motorcycle or car and show it off! The event starts at 5:15, and live music begins at 6 p.m. Plus, enjoy great drink specials and door prizes.

J&P Cycles knows how to have one hell of a bash in the cornfields of Eastern Iowa! 2013 marks the 34th annual event, which is now called the J&P Cycles Open House Rally. This year’s event is scheduled for June 29-30. Founders John and Jill Parham started the original one-day event as a customer appreciation of sorts to thank their loyal customers for their business. Today that one-day event has grown into two and is bigger than ever!

Our friends over at Klock Werks are raffling off an awesome 2010 tricked out Victory Kingpin next Friday, Oct. 26. The bike, Tattooed for Life, honors two men close to the Klock Werks family who were tragically killed in different accidents and represents the importance of organ donation.
Twenty-nine-year old Vic Briggs, a Klock Werks team member, was lost in automobile accident in late June of 2011. Austin Shimon, 20, a close friend of the Klock Werks family, passed away after a motorcycle accident in 2009. Both Vic and Austin were organ donors, and through their selfless gifts, were able to save the lives of others awaiting organ donation.… Continue Reading
Despite a gloomy rainy Eastern Iowa Day, J&P Cycles and the Marines made the most of the first annual J&P Cycles Toys for Tots Run held Saturday, Oct. 13 at J&P Cycles. We collected hundreds of toys for less fortunate Iowa children, in addition to hundreds of dollars in cash donations.
The band New Trick was a hit as were the Marines in attendance as they posed for photos and collected toys. Labor Day weekend in Iowa marks one of the largest antique motorcycle swap meets and vintage flat-track races in the United States, hosted by the Chief Blackhawk Chapter of the Antique Motorcycle Club of America (AMCA), and it’s going to take place just down the road from J&P Cycles’ headquarters.
This year’s AMCA Fall National is set for Thursday, Aug. 30, through Saturday, Sept. 1, at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds in Davenport. The three-day event annually attracts riders and families from across the country, drawn to the dirt track to watch vintage motorcycles compete.
