The J&P Cycles 2015 Hot Rods & Harleys Cruise Night Series, sponsored by Cassill Motors, Wild Hogs Saloon & Eatery, Bud Light, KRNA and KHAK, was a huge success! The final event held on Thursday, Sept. 17, featured great music by Framing the Red, door prizes and cool drinks. A large group of bikers came together for the final drawing for the customized 2006 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy and they were joined by the 60 sweepstakes finalists whose 15 names were drawn randomly per each previous event held May through August.
After the finalists were checked in and given random numbers, those random numbers were drawn at 8 p.m. to determine the order of key presentation. One-by-one, finalists came forward to choose their key and present it to Jay Cassill who put each key in the starter and tried to start the motorcycle.
Finally, after about 30 finalists tried their luck with a key and failed, Stephanie Lange’s chance came. She excitedly handed her key to Cassill who put the key in and with a smirk fired the machine up. As you can imagine, Stephanie’s excitement exploded when she realized she had just won the 2006 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy!
The motorcycle underwent a major facelift prior to the final drawing. Parts were supplied by J&P Cycles from the following manufacturers: Kuryakyn, Bahn, Vance & Hines, Arlen Ness, J&P Cycles, and Milwaukee Twins. Cassill Motors graciously installed those parts on the Fat Boy in addition to proving a classic paint job to complete the custom look.
Congratulations to Stephanie Lange and an additional thank you to Jaymz Larson, our energetic KRNA MC for the events and thanks to our wonderful sponsors!
