July 17, 2014 | By: Scott Holton

H-D-RoadKing-2014Last week Harley-Davidson issued a recall for ABS-equipped 2014 touring models. The recall notice affects 66,421 motorcycles and the issue is placement of the bike’s front brake line, which may become pinched between the fuel tank and frame, potentially locking up the front wheel.

Owners affected will be notified by H-D, and be offered a free fix at a dealer near them. Dealers will inspect the brake line for damage and replace as necessary. Additionally, the dealer will install cable straps to ensure the brake line will not become compromised in the future.
