The holiday season is a great time of year at J&P Cycles – one we all enjoy. There are different festivities we take part in as a group: the holiday party, departmental gift exchanges and employee lunches. It’s hard to not have the holiday spirit.

As we reflect on 2013, the Open House Rally immediately comes to mind. More than 30,000 of you visited us during our 34th annual event in June. With 2014 being J&P’s 35th year in business, we’re upping the ante for the 2014 Open House Rally. Drum roll please… we’re turning this event into a 3-day rally. That’s right, 3 days! Friday, June 27 to Sunday, June 29, our headquarters in Anamosa, Iowa, will be transformed into everything motorcycle! The event kicks off to the public at noon on Friday, and for the first time ever, two live bands will perform on site Friday evening.

We’ve thoroughly enjoyed interacting with you, our customers, at the different events across the country this year. You can count on seeing us at even more events in 2014. Make sure to check out our website on a regular basis as we’ll be adding those events throughout the year. Hopefully we’ll be able to catch you at a city nearby soon.

Thank you for your business these past 34 years – because of you, we have been able to continue doing what we love. We look forward to serving you in 2014!

Happy Holidays from our family to yours!

BUYER BE WARE – do not pay any attention to the so called 120 day return of items as listed on the J&P website. It means nothing! You will have to check every part of every item you purchase to see what the real return policy means. That means everything you buy, look at the item in the web site – do not pay any attention to the return policy listed on the home page of the web site – it isn’t true. I purchased a Vance and Hines fuelpak for my 2003 Roadking. When I received it I opened the item to look at – DID NOT INSTALL IT – PUT IT BACK in the box and checked the return policy. I completed the necessary return form and sent it back. I then called to check on the status of my return and was told because it was an electric item that if I opened it I couldn’t send it back. Does it state that on the home page of the web site – no – nowhere. The customer service man said I had to go to the item in the web site and look for it there. Then two days later I received the fuelpak back in the mail. So – no matter what you buy forget the return policy on the home page – look up every item you are thinking about buying (personally I wouldn’t buy anything even though I am a member of the Gold Club – no more after this) I wrote a personal letter to the owners they did not respond. I will continue to tell everyone I can in as many social web sites that I can to beware of J&P
