Paul Teutul Jr., co-star of the Discovery Channel’s “American Chopper: Sr. Versus Jr.”, rolled onto a stage at our Ormond Beach, Fla., store last Friday with one of two custom Harley-Davidson motorcycles he designed for CrankyApe.com.

The long-touted unveiling occurred in the middle of Bike Week at our Destination Daytona store with thousands of Paul Jr. fans on hand to get a first-hand look at the blue custom-made motorcycle created especially for CrankyApe.com, the online powersport auction company. Paul Jr., his brother, Mikey, and other Paul Jr. Designs employee/stars signed autographs and chatted with J&P visitors after the unveiling. The popularity of Paul Jr.’s TV series was evident, with hundreds of fans rushing forward to get an autograph or a photo with the PJD team members.

The primary chopper design was based on a Harley motorcycle on the auction site. The custom bike will be publicly auctioned on the CrankyApe website with the proceeds going to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF), a charitable organization that generates support and commemorates the service and sacrifice of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty.

Last Friday’s event was filmed for an episode of “American Chopper” that will air this spring. But visitors to our Daytona store got a sneak peek at the CrankyApe.com company bike — a blazing blue beauty that drew appreciative applause from the J&P faithful and onlookers alike. Later this spring, CrankyApe will bring its custom motorcycle back to the company’s store in Cannon Falls, Minn.

Stay tuned to this blog to find out when the J&P Cycles Daytona episode of “American Chopper: Sr. Versus Jr.” will air.

Below you will find a video shot by J&P staff of the unveiling.  Also, make sure you check out our Facebook page to look at all the pictures we took during Bike Week and the unveiling of the CrankyApe.com bikes.

I mostly like old style choppers because I go back to the 60′s when they were gaining recognition.Today I ride a bagger(HD).My point is that if everyone liked the same style bike it would be an awfully dull world. While Jr’s style really doesn’t appeal to me, I say keep on doing what you do best !

Most of O C C bikes look the part but I seriously dont think think that radical designs are what we long time ridders would to want to park their buts on for any given lenth of time after all is said and done its the ride that counts especially when we are dumping 40,000 plus to make that happen.

good things come to those who are blessed.

After waching your show from the begining to now I must say that Jr has a eye for orginal design and the paicnce of Jobe. But some how has lost the true meanig of what a bike is purchased for.I have been riding bikes since 1964 and presently have a 63 XLCH 900 Scranbler as in true duel purpose, also my wife rides an American Eagle Falcon, and Myself a American Eagle Maverich both are 100 S/S one with a six speed. My second Harley was a Heratahge Springer, and wifes a Harrley sp.Low.prior to that we have two dozen other brands. So I mean no offence to Jr but we ride and buy bikes that look tridisional chopped in a clean manner that are dependable and comfortable, fast and rideable for long bike rallies. Most of O C C bikes look the part but I seriously dont think think that radical designs are what we long time ridders would to want to park their buts on for any given lenth of time after all is said and done its the ride that counts especially when we are dumping 40,000 plus to make that happen.

Great look…bah to naysayers…respect will come with your hard work!!! Ron

That’s the fugliest bike I’ve seen in a while!

Paulie , you & Vinnie did a fine job , But what does that sponge brother do , does he still live under a bridge , when was the last time he washed his hair????? I guess it sucks having to take care of that crack head , he ruins your show

Sorry guys but that is one unattractive ride. The paint looks great but the rest of it does not flow well and why build a bike you can’t ride for any length of time? I was happy to give up hardtails for a ride with a suspension capable of a days ride without beating my back and kidneys into submission.

Good work guys the ones that don’t like it can’t afford it anyway keep walking……..
Good to see your mom there Paul and Mikee..

Paul let’s give a little more credit, you mentioned your mom and wife but only mentioned Vinnie’s name when you told him to take the seat off! Nice bike but let’s give credit were credit is due!

PAUL JR, VINEY, & MIKEY, YOU HIT IT ON THIS ONE. YOU CANNOT KEEP A GOOD MAN DOWN. YOUR AMBITION AND DRIVE IS UNMATCHED. To all the crew at PJD, Thanks for the great show in Daytona Beach. You never stop amazing me with your incredible designs. I hope Discovery keeps your show going for a long time. It wouldn’t hurt my feelings is they cut OCC out of the show completely. Thanks again !

Great Job Jr.

I have always believed in Paul Jr and Paul Jr Designs. Paul and his crew are very talented, creative, and all around good people. His class far exceeds the problems he has dealt with. I commend him for being so graceful under pressure. I am thankful that people like CrankyApe give Paul’s company an oppurtunity to show their talent. I am a fan Paul Jr and everything that he is today. Great job everyone! I love it!
