Gearing Up For Daytona Bike Week March 3-13
March 1, 2011 | By: Angi Kearney
The weather’s cool here at our headquarters in Anamosa, Iowa, but we can guarantee things will be a lot hotter March 3 through 13 at our Destination Daytona Superstore in Florida. It’s Bike Week and the only thing that could make it hotter is having thousands of J&P Cycles’ closest friends come out and visit us!
Sunny Florida is the perfect mid-winter getaway. You can soak up the sun and get out and ride on the open road! The J&P Cycles Destination Daytona Superstore is THE place to be for this year’s Bike Week. See Flat Track Racer Joe Kopp who will be signing autographs March 9 from 1-3 p.m. Plus, don’t miss Paul Jr. from Paul Jr. Designs on the J&P Cycles lot, signing autographs on March 11 from 1-3 p.m. His famous Anti-Venom bike, unveiled at the J&P Cycles lot during the 70th Annual Sturgis Rally & Races, will be on display in our Destination Daytona Showroom the duration of the event. In addition to signing autographs, you will be able to purchase Paul Jr. Designs t-shirts exclusively from J&P Cycles.
Bike Week is also a great opportunity to see some of the industry’s top motorcycle parts and accessories manufacturers. We’ll have a fistful of products on display in the J&P Cycles Destination Daytona lot during Bike Week. That includes motorcycle equipment from Airhawk, Cruising Gear, Custom Chrome, Dynojet, Interstate Batteries, National Cycle, Ride Wright, Rumbling Pride, Biker’s Choice, Drag Specialties, Memphis Shades, Mustang, Saddlemen, Battistinis, Z1R Helmets, Rivera Primo, Bell Helmets and AutoGem — to name just a few.
Mechanics from Fix Cycles will be on hand to provide general repair and parts installation. There will be free installation on all Mustang seats plus tire installation will be performed daily on the J&P lot each day of the rally.
In addition, visitors will be able to find hot deals in our closeout tent, offering discounts of up to 50 percent off. And you can shop the store to your heart’s delight and then have your purchases shipped free to your home. There are some exclusions, but we’ll tell you about them.
The inside of our Destination Daytona Superstore, thanks to our founder and president John Parham, is more like walking into a museum than a well-stocked motorcycle shop. In addition to parts and accessories, apparel and collectibles (more than 50,000 at last count), the 15,000-square-foot showroom is home to numerous antique motorcycles displayed in a beautiful mezzanine. In addition, we’ve got gorgeous motorcycle canvas prints and huge wallpaper scenes from the past. Just another reason to put J&P Cycles on your Bike Week destination list!
