Biggest Bike Bash in Daytona Beach Wraps Up [VIDEO]

Where the heck were you? Monday was the last day of Bike Week 2011 in Daytona Beach and, true to form, it once again maintained its reputation as one of the biggest biker bashes on the planet.

And if you haven’t visited J&P Cycles’ Destination Daytona location, you owe it to yourself as a biker to make the trip. Tents in the parking lots were filled with stuff you need for your bike — and much of it was priced 50 percent off, including shiny new motorcycle engines. We had tires on sale, and they could even be installed while you waited. We also installed exhaust systems on site, electrical equipment, brake pads and lights — all week long.

We slapped together a pretty nice little video so you can see what you missed this year and maybe make plans for Biketoberfest in a few months, or next year’s Bike Week 2012. Click the link below and listen as J&P’s own Patrick Garvin describes the action:

If that’s not enough to get your biker blood pumping, then you need to check your pulse.

I agree with most of the above this will be my last trip to Daytona from N.H.!!!!!!!!!!!let the gestapo and the crybabyes spend there money I am done with Daytona after almost 20 years !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Always cool stuff, good price, and service!

Yup, just a commercial for J&P. Nothing more. Lame! :(

i have lived in Daytona for the last 4 years and have seen this event go down hill every year little by little. The crouds are getting smaller no matter what the media is trying to make bikers believe. The town of Daytona and the people who live there gripe to no end at all the city councel meetings about all the noise and what confusion these events cause them. Well….pay your own higher taxes when the bikers and nascar fans quit coming to your town. The economy is way to bad to bitch about income that comes to the town of Daytona……they should be kissing our ass’s and creating more for the bikers and for all the merchant’s just keep raising your prices…..one day there won’t be an person coming there to by a 6 to 8 dollar beer or a $9.00 burger.
I’m finding some where else to go and spend my money if there’s any left after this years Bike Week.

The noise restrictions and the Gestapo are spoiling what was a great time. Will keep attending Thunder in the Valley in Pa and Laconia Hh.Another good one is the AHDRA at Summit Dragway Park in Ohio and the Bike Week in Sandusky Oh at the same time.Wow,what a bash!!!

Your video gave me NO motivation to make the trip to Daytona Bike week. It was nothing more than a plug for J&P.

The attendance at Daytona has been decreasing yearly, this year was the worst so far. If they say more than 200K people, I’d like to know who/how they are counting. Daytona bike week [and spring break] are suffering drastically under all the restrictions. It’s gone from Wild & Wonderful to Calm and sedate…hopefully the poor attendance this year will give Daytona a clue that they are killing these events and the associated revenues…there was some random speculation that it was due to the state of the economy, but one look at the attendance of the other rallies will disprove that notion…

My 1st bike week in Daytona was amazing. Getting to be a part of something that huge with 500,000 bikes was a real mind blowing experience. The Bonus… I got to pick up some stuff from the discount J&P tent and the store. Can’t wait to get back down there from nasty Michigan!

Just watched your video, it was highly disappointing. I was unable to make Daytona Bike Week because I am stuck up here in Ohio with some really cold and nasty weather, and your reporter did’nt interview a single woman! Mush less a hot one!! What was wrong with him? There had to be at least one hot woman working the show. Or just get a couple of girls in bikinis in the background!!

J & P: I TRULY LOVE YOUR SERVICE, PRODUCTS, HELP AT TIMES, ETC.. BUT THAT WAS NOWHERE NEAR THE LARGEST DAYTONA RALLY EVER. THEM ASS-HOLE COPS, DUMB-ASS ” RIDE QUIET, RIDE SAFE SIGNS ! ” LOUD PIPES SAVE LIVES GUYS. DAYTONA HAS WORKED IT’S WAY OUT OF BEING ONE OF MY FAVORITES FOR SURE. LONG LIVE “THUNDER BEACH BIKE RALLY IN PANAMA CITY BEACH !” NOW THIS PLACE ACTUALLY SHOWS IT’S APPRECIATION & REPECT TO US GOOD OLE’ BIKERS. F$%K DAYTONA 2011, IF BIKE-TOBERFEST AINT WORTH A CRAP THIS YEAR I FOR ONE WILL NOT BE BACK. THANK YA’LL
