Ride It Like You Stole It With Progressive Suspensions Dynamic Duo

In the days leading up to the 70th annual Sturgis Rally & Races, most of us are concentrating on ways to survive the butt-numbing ride to South Dakota in comfort. We’re loading up on motorcycle luggage and rain gear and custom parts we think will make us comfortable during those endless hours spent on our bikes. What we tend to forget about is the incredible roads surrounding the Black Hills area. Needles Highway, Iron Mountain Road, Spearfish Canyon —  all provide some of the best corner carving you’re ever going to find.

And believe me when I tell you that all the luggage or cup holders in the world won’t help when you have your bagger leaned over to the floorboards in mid-corner. Check out Saddlemen Seats “Road Sofa” for that numb butt. With all due respect to Progressive Suspension check out Glide-Pro dot com for the FLT swingarm dillema solution. It’s a fix instead of a bandaid along with Custom Cycle S.S. bearings to replace the stock, weak cleve blocks. Ride safe!! Ride hard!!!

Hey Bill, when are you gonna writeone of these?

Just installed a set of Progressive 440 Shocks on the old VTX1300. Rode it for 15 minutes before the install to get a point of reference. You cannot believe the difference. Floating eyeglasses stopped. Buzzing helmet stopped. What an eyeopener. Got the front springs too, but reluctant to install without talking to someone. See you in Sturgis.

My butt is numb just thinking about such a long trip.
