BREAKING NEWS: Paul Jr. Is Back!

You either love them or you hate them, but no matter your opinion, you know who they are. Over the years, American Chopper’s own Paul Teutul Sr. and Paul Teutul Jr. have brought an explosive brand of television into many of our homes. The feuding, arguing, and destruction of office doors, managed to bring custom bike building and motorcycles in general into the consciousness of folks who otherwise wouldn’t have been one bit interested.

Their split was a public affair just over a year ago and the TV show was all but left for dead, leaving fans with the question of what, exactly, would become of the Teutuls.

For those of you still wondering, fear not — Paul Jr. is back! The younger Teutul and his crew will be in Sturgis, S.D., on the J&P Cycles lot debuting a brand new build and a brand new TV show! Paul Jr. has inked a deal with Bikers Choice and will be unveiling the first project featuring Bikers Choice motorcycle parts and accessories, along with the insane fabrication and wild design he’s known for. The new TLC show, American Chopper:  Senior vs. Junior, is scheduled to air in August. Along with his new company, Paul Jr. Designs, he has a brand new shop down the road from the old Orange County Choppers shop, and is bringing along some old friends.  That’s right, if the new company and new shop weren’t enough for you, Mikey and Vinnie are back in action. Both will be working side-by-side with Paul Jr. Make sure you keep an eye out on www.JPCycles.com for a new line of custom parts from Paul Jr. Designs & Bikers Choice in the near future.

On a final note, Orange County Choppers has been very polarizing since its inception.  Since the show went off the air, there were grumblings of “good riddance” or, “I’m glad those guys are done” sentiment around parts of the motorcycle community. Lost in the haze of bickering on the old American Chopper show was the simple fact that these guys were good for the motorcycle community. For most of you reading this, motorcycles are a large part of your lives, but the same cannot be said for the majority of people who watch TV. So when American Chopper found its way into mainstream America, it brought with it a wave of new interest in motorcycles. OCC helped introduce motorcycling to many people who otherwise may have never ridden a bike. More people  on motorcycles translates to more motorcycle awareness — and that’s always a good thing.

Stay tuned for more updates right here on the J&P Cycles Blog, or you can keep up with the news on our Facebook and Twitter pages. Don’t miss the action going down in Sturgis at the J&P Cycles store at 1650 Lazelle St.

I got my fill of that show when I realized it was just that, a show. I would really like to see a show of builders building bikes from the ground up. Cut the running out of time to finish the build crap, no hollowing, doing pranks and silly stuff, just build bikes. There are some great builders out there even thou we have lost some of the best ever. Jesse James was good when he first started his show as far as fabrication goes. Then he started that show building garbage trucks then when that junk did not go over he started building giant trucks to crash into houses. J.J. was a good builder at one time but TV seems to go to the head of them all just like all those in Hollywood.

Both Jr & Mikey are a couple of spoiled punks. Neither one would ever have been known if it weren’t for the Old Man. Rick, Vinnie, etc were/are the real craftsmen along with Sr. The boys let fame & fortune go to thier heads as children are wont to do. As for the scripted fighting, I think it lead to the demise of the show in general, in addition to it just running it’s natural TV life. The boys need to realize that the Old Man made ‘em what they are and crawl across broken glass to kiss his ass and beg for forgiveness so that the family can heal. I have sen the old Man make many gestures that have been rebuffed by that puffed up littlte turd Jr and, poor fried Mikey has a bad case of big brother worship. Good riddance & good luck!

Paul
a suggestion when you run out of ideas. How about building three scooters 0ne for mikey and vinny and you! since you enjoy riding them in florida! I think that would be a great tv thing. Maybe start making them here in america again! With your designing back ground I think it would be a good challange for you nothing the OCC group has done!

paul jr

just think if you could build a glass tank

boy would that open people eys

Sr. Got a Cut… Jr. Got Cut… N Vinnie Cut Himself… It Does’nt Matter if it Was Real or Not. Nobody “EVER” Questions American Idol’s Show..!? We USED to Have Movies n TV Shows about Working, and the American Dream of Rasing a Family in a Productive Society… Gotta Go !! My Lemonade Stand is Being Inspected By FDA… ATF… IRS… INS… OSHA… The Carpenters Union”Local 666″… The Fire Dept. … State Farm Insurance Co. … And The Bank that I Took Out a Loan 2 Build.

Paul:
I think you will do fine on your own.
I had a machine shop with 4 employed and when I saw your father blowing off his head about cleaning the shop, thats all he had to do is like I did.
Every day I had my people quite 1/2 hour early every day and clean the machines and floor, simple.
I can tell that your are like me and not the type to be flying of the handle at your people you have working for you.
I could work you you any day but about two min: for your father.
You will do fine.
Mike Boulger

Paul Jr,

They say that revenge is a dish best served cold. I think you succeeding will speak volumes. As a recently retired Air Force sergeant, i loved watching you earlier shows. What I see now with your father is vary disappointing. I lost my father when I was stationed over seas and no matter how bad it ever got between my father and I, I can always count on him no matter what. I will pray for you and your family and I wish you great success.

DEAR PAUL JR.
I WISH YOU THE BEST OF LUCK WITH YOU’R SHOW I WILL BE ALWAYS WATCHING IT.I THINK YOU AND VINNIE WORK GREAT TOGETHER. WHAT EVER HAPPEND TO CODY? I ALSO THINK THAT YOU’R DAD IS BEING AN ASS ABOUT THIS. THAT GUY JASON IS KISSING YOU’R DADS ASS AND HAS TURNED AGAINST YOU ,I THINK HE THINKS HE WILL GET PART OF THE CO. I REALLY THINK HE SUCKS.I WISH YOU THE BEST MY FRIEND KEEP ON ROLLING. SAY HI TO MIKE FOR ME GLAD HE IS WITH YOU.
A FRIEND ALWAYS,
DICK

Im glad J.r. left O.C.C. . His father never appericated his son’s working for him. He should be thinkful to have his kids working for him . I know there was more to the story then what we all got to see, but he should
still have his boys there with him. Family before work , blood before water. All that Paul Sr. see is money…Sad but true…. Well… I hope TLC Gives Paul Jr. A Show Of His Own..

BREAKING NEWS: Paul Jr. Is Back! | Motorcycle Parts and ……

Here at World Spinner we are debating the same thing……

I’ve seen every show including the new Sr Vs Jr episodes. Building bikes are obviously not rocket science, but the artistic design Jr created, made the business. As time went on, shows were becoming very stale. They had initial excitment due to Jr’s artistic designs along with Vinnie’s mechanical expertise. Mikey was funny and needs a makeover. Good point on a Subway spokesman above! Sr always ragged on everyone to a point of the very ridiculous. Yep, made for good tv. Nobody at OCC has the balls to stand up to Sr, who has become even more of an a-hole. How many of his marriages have failed? How many of his sons are on talking terms with him? Every chance he gets, he rags on Jr to the point of nausea. Definately better for tv but bad for family values. Now that PJD is up and running, I’m again looking forward to seeing what designs they have up their sleeves! Good luck to PJD and remember to Free Rick!!

Jr’s new bikes are AWESOME! I wish him the best with his new shop.
Mikey rocks,, he needs to hook up with Jenny Craig or Subway become a spokesman loose some weight and start doing some TV hosting,, what a genuinly great personality Mikey has.

Sr is a complete tool,, what an epic failure as a father and a human being,, way to sell out your family for power and money you dbag. And that Jason Poole is a complete spaz idiot,, no talent hack the bikes he designs look stupid, he needs to stick to running his computer programs and keep his dullard face away from the cameras.

Rage, Rage, Rage……where did it get you Sr.?????Retire to your home in the woods…..thats where all US Viet-Nam Vets went….

OCC sucked then…probably will suck in the future. Making big money in the show business world does not make you a good person or even successful in my eyes. Rich maybe, successful in life…hardly. Except for Vinnie and one or two other hired hands…they were a bunch of hammer mechanics that subbed everything out except very rough welding fabrication which had to be all smoothed and molded by craftsman before it could be plated or painted.

I think jr will blow the old man out of the water. With “Vinnie” by his side the creations they will build will CRUSH the “Ol man” has ever done. If it was not for jr. The “Ol man would be drawing “rocking chair”. Sr. Should back off the “Steroids” long ago and maybe He would still have a mariaige and Family. I feel sorry for the “Ol man” in a way but He done it to Him self. Now the other side of the coin Sr. still could mend fences if He would loose His pride and be the Father He should of been. Forgiveness is needed all around, Amen?

I thought Paul Jr came across a lot better than dear old dad.Can we please stop showing the arguerment between father and son, they get old very fast.Mickey needs to cut his hair lose weight, and have a job at Paul Jr place were he can make money and feel good about himself .VINNEY you rock ,you could make this show am so glad you are back.Hope next week it is more on Paul Jr and his shop .Good luck you two.

[...] a new company and a new TV show, having announced his partnership with Biker Choice last month (see BREAKING NEWS: Paul Jr. is Back!). On Friday, Junior will unveil his newest creation on the J&P Cycles lot in what is sure to be [...]

Correct me if I am wrong but wasn’t Mikey the best part of OCC? We have have all come across someone like Mikey in our lives and there would be nothing better to see him turn his motivation of life around and actually achieve some greatness at something. Anything. Every week I would wait for something great to happen to Mikey and it never happened. Maybe in the new show things will start happening for him now. Go Mikey Go!

I JUST WANT TO LET EVERYONE OUT THERE KNOW THOUGH SOME TIMES IT WAS UNCOMFORTABLE TO WATCH FATHER AND SON GOING AT IT. I LOVED THE SHOW AND HOPE TO SEE MANY RERUNS.
I USUALLY GET STIRRED UP AND GET OUT TO THE GARAGE TO WORK ON MAKING SOMETHING FOR MY BIKE OR JUST SPENDING TIME ENJOYING IT BECAUSE OF AN EPISODE.
I GREW UP IN A SIMILAR WORLD AND IT DIDN’T HURT ME AT ALL IN FACT I AM THE MAN I AM TODAY BECAUSE OF IT.
IT HAS MADE ME PUSH MYSELF HARDER AND MADE ME A BETTER MECHANIC.
IT IS HARED TO WORK FOR A PARENT ANYONE WILL TELL YOU THAT.
ALL THE BEST ON THE NEW SHOW I WILL BE WATCHING.
BOB
THAT’S JUST PART OF LIFE GET OVER IT AND MOVE ON.

I quit watching the show quite some time ago. I was interested in learning to build a bike. Sure the tension sometimes between Jr. and Sr. was amusing and sometimes sad, but that was about ratings. Lots of guys act like Sr. but that is because of how they came up. It doesn’t speak to what is in the heart. Fathers and sons have there own individual dynamics. Jr. needed to learn a work ethic and his father was trying to imprint that on him. Hopefully, now that Jr. will be in charge, some of dad’s work ethic will start to show. The best thing about the show for me was, that it gave me the gumption to finally build myself what is the perfect cruiser for me. I got it new, and tore it down to the frame and started from there. Yep, it’s some work from great off the shelf fabricators, some custom, but all mine. There is no other bike quite like it and it fits my personality, riding style and body just right. It’s not a Harley. It’s a Roadstar. It turns heads everywhere I ride it. I spent lots of time in the garage finessing just the right fit and feel for me. Riding is like that. I’ve been riding nearly all of my life. It’s an indivudal pastime that we can also share with others.
I wish the Tuetels all the luck in the world with their new endeavor.

It’s funny that there are people who take special time out of their day to bash the OCC guys.Maybe these people were not as successful as OCC and are jealous. To them I say, stick to your guns, putting down others never gets you on top.

I enjoyed watching the show and they took their business to a very profitable place, employed a few people and gave back to their community. Whether they did good things just because of the TV show or because they wanted to, I tip my hat to them. I wish anyone good luck in their businesses these days! We all need to be opening businesses and employing people to rebuild the American dream.

COME ON EVERYBODY..ITS CALLED SHOW BUSINESS.
SMOKE AND MIRRORS…THE GREAT AMERICAN WAY.

Both Sr and Jr are putting on a very good act…. the show started to get stale and so they dreamed up this “split”. Perhaps it will work and the ratings will return, who knows…. They did one smart thing by bringing Vinnie back as he was the only individual on the show who “acted” normal.

I LOVED THE SHOW. Jr TOOK ALOT MORE THAN I WOULD HAVE, AND I AGREE VINNIE WAS USED AN ABUSED.

I’LL WATCH THE NEW SHOW ALSO, EVEN MY WIFE DOESN’T CARE FOR Sr. HE JUST HAS NO IDEA HOW TO HANDLE PEOPLE. HE’S WORKING ON A STROKE, HOPE IT DOESN’T HAPPEN BUT HE NEEDS TO CHILL.

The only thing OCC and the rest of the bike builders has done was made custom bikes nothing more then a cookie cutter bike. . just like Harleys. . and who’s going to shell out 25 grand for a production cookie cutter “custom” bike. . the bike industry is dead! They are cool to look at.. but the masses do not have that kind of money to toss at 2-wheels.

I liked the show. I wondered what happened when I saw vinnie on some other cycle show. I thought all the drama was just part of the entertainment kind of like championship wrestling. Made up. But I guess not. Sr. needs to up the Prozac sounds like.

I started watching OCC BECAUSE they showed how they did the metal work – details of the construction. It was quite interesting to see not only how it was done, but a real demonstration of skill. Then the TV show twisted it all into a ridiculous caricature. Likely I won’t be watching the “new” version either.

@roadking, if you think for a second that Big Bear and Jesse James don’t build thier bikes the same way that OCC does….you’re sadly mistaken. OCC, Big bear, Jesse James and the rest of them all buy parts, modify them and install them. The only thing that are ever usually made from scratch in house is the tanks, bars, exhaust, seats and a few brackets and flair here and there. With the exception of Big Bear since they have become such a large company they probably make their own frames, but I can assure you that if they do they are not one offs. They would either be contracted out and are at a minimum mass produced on some type of CNC machine. Sorry to rain down on your parade, but that is the reality.

The rich just get richer!!!

speaking from the perspective of someone who has never been on or had the slightest bit of interest in motorcycles, i didn’t watch the show to “learn” about bikes. i couldn’t care less. they could have been making rocking chairs for all i cared. i watched it strictly for the “story lines”. sure, it’s fake and contrived, but it’s entertaining. if the show isn’t hardcore “motorcycling” enough for you, change the channel.

Coleman grills are more your speed Jr.!

I watched the show from the beginning and got bored with the cookie cutter designs from Jr, I was glad to see him leave. I was sad to see Vinnie leave
I thought he carried Jr for a long time. When Jr left I
thought the bikes took on a whole new look and felt
that the OCC team concept works just fine, with everyone having input and Sr smart enough to stay on the sidelines, getting involved only when necessary. Suddenly Jr is quite the designer he thought he was, though I did like the dog park.

TELL THEM TO STAY HOME DAMM YANKEE ‘S!!!!!!!!

I rode up for the charity ride July 17, 2010. No Sr., No q&a as advertised, one hotdog one soda and one mediocre band. The ride was okay but way to fast for most of the riders who attended. The OCC operation looks like it is on its last legs. Maybe they could try a little harder to get customers to like them, trust them and then refer them. As for me It was a giant waste of time. Do not recommend them as they are now operating.

I miss the OCC show. Paul Jr and Sr rose from a small handrail shop in a small town in upstate NY to being legends. It doesn’t matter if you love their bikes or not, their show was entertaining and it did get the viewing world excited about custom motorcycles. I’m proud of all the money that Sr. and Jr. made off the show and OCC. I was disappointed to see Vinnie leave so I’m happy to see the he has reunited with Jr. at Jr’s new company. I wish them all the best! I will be heading down to J&P Cycles in Sturgis to wish them my best.

American Choppers is a TV show. Do not believe any of it, Paul Sr is a smart business man a millionaire. He was retired from his steel business building bikes in his basement. Even he says he got a late start at bikes. The producers were looking for a shop to do a show with. Their idea was like most people, bikers are rough, vile scum bags. They wanted to show this and the tension between Sr and Jr was what they were looking for. They told them to play it up, had meetings ,set goals, its a money making TV Show! Its not real!! If the show had not come along Sr would continue along in his basement and eventually make good money. He knows how to do it. He is a business man and I don’t think he makes one step without planning it out. Jr worked in the family steel business and went in with Sr to help. I don”t believe Jr is a “biker” or really loves choppers like most of us do. Towards the end of the show he was showing that he felt he could design anything. He is the one who dubbed him self a designer. It just so happens that he was the only guy that would build a “chopper” that looks like a helicopter. Did the TV viewers like the themed bikes? Sure they did, they don’t know that choppers don’t have wings or machine guns or rockets. These bikes were ten year old boys dreams come true! I have seen a regular non-theme OCC chopper and it was beautiful, billet, custom paint, chrome long front end everything you could want. Yes the owner does ride it, just as much as any guy with a $50,000 bike. I think the TV show and the commerical shop should be seperate. The shop and guys who work there are real. The show is fantasy.
I have been building Harleys since my first 1947 Knucklehead in 1968. I have had a lot of Harleys and I have a lot now. Just got my first new one a 2008 Dyna Wide Glide. I build Harley choppers and have the trophies to prove some are nice. But with all this I am not a biker. I do not live the life style. I am in it for the bikes and riding. I am sure I spend more time building then riding. Thats just the way it goes.I really don’t care if a guy rides his bike cross country or only on week ends. As long as he loves it and takes care of it and doesn’t kill anybody thats fine with me. Sr is a business man above all and a bike lover and a bike builder. Jr is a guy with a huge ego who I think found out how hard it was in the outside world where everyone is not telling you how good you are. I do not think he loves the bikes and I don’t think he really cares. Mikey was just a poor lush that the producers kept on because they got a lot of E mail about him. It was a very successful show that was on for years and I watched it for laughs. Who knows the whole break up thing could have been done to bring back falling ratings. They could really get along great. Remember its all Acting!!
If I really hated a TV show I don’t think I would know that much about it. Thanks for listening.

Who cares!

Looks like about 90%of the posters here have it figured out, while the rest are obvious TV/drama junkies. I rebuild and customize my Harleys and have done ground up builds. The OCC dolts fab some things, but in the end are ordering parts and bolting them on. The design work is so similar between the different builds the bikes do look the same except for a few parts and the paint colors.
The funny thing is, reading all the posts, their fans have no clue as to the production behind what is seen on TV. It’s all for the cameras, but so many of you believe you are seeing real life. And anyone that got into riding or back into riding because of this show; I needn’t say a thing, that speaks mouthfuls.
20 years ago the wannabees merely had t-shirts and tatoos but now many have the scoots, and of course, the Teutuls. Keep trailering your moronic selves to Sturgis and make sure your run pins are neatly placed on your vests in straight lines. Just remember, having a Harley, a tat and a goatee do not a biker make, and watching the OCC bolt on builder show doesn’t do it either.

Sr and Jr’s split up was a sure thing to happen. In my honest opinion I think that Sr is very jelous of Jr’s talents with designing bikes..He would constantly be up in Jr’s face because there was nothing else for him to do.It’s really messed up that Sr let the 4 horse men destroy his family and started getting selfish and wanted to get rid of Jr so he could take all the credit for everything..He may of built the shop and pay the bills but as far as that goes without the crew it would be just a pile of bricks..To me the real stars are people like Rick Petko and Vinnie.. People that do everything for the company and didnt take any credit..But lets be serious if I had the funds like that I would build a serious bike my self. I like the old days where everything was built by hand, but now all you have to do is press a few buttons

It’s laughable that any network would want to carry them. I was sad/glad when I thought that show died. Paul Sr is a head case. Too much PTSD or Agent Orange… However Jr is a flat out p!(^$ and a%(_#$@@ !!

I refuse to watch it any longer

Interesring art, sometimes. Generally unridable, definitely. A bunch of you folks are talking. Have you checked out an OCC bike? FREAKING GARBAGE! They had one of the military bikes at my local Harley dealer, so I stopped. Shoddy workmanship all around. The geometry of the bike was off, and the welds were cracking, everthing “out of sight” was rough at best, and the paint looked a lot better on t.v. It’s a matter of opinion right? Not always. Unsafe is unsafe. Think about the horror stories from back in the day. Fly by night parts companies selling parts that routinely break. People getting jipped because their 8″ over springer folded at 75. That is occ. Hide it, make it look good from a distance. Their demographic has never been bikers. Newbies and weekend warriors don’t count. You’re entitled to your opinion and it’s great that you’re in the wind, but you are an enthusiast. Got it, Good. A biker rides like HE can fix it, because we can, because we probably built it in the backyard. I will always get pissed off at the johny come lately shits who think they have a damn clue. I got my first real bike when I was six, Bridgestone 175, kick start, dads cool as hell. I had to make it run to earn riding it. So at 33 I’ve been riding, wrenching, and paying dues for 27 years. Bikes, Hot Rods, whatever, you gotta pay your dues respect is earned.

And on the side here, where do any of you get off calling OCC hard workers buildin up a business? An hour long national commercial every week. They would still be in the basement or belly up by now whithout the show. All of it is the show. Evan the bikes, just show. There are tons of builders out there. Guys who really build cool, mostly safe, reliable bikes. People who can run circles around the OCC crowd, just watch Biker Build-Off re-runs, or check out real shows, you know, bike shows. Real life, grass, beer, people, smoke shows, barbeque, beer, real folks who build real bikes.

Because like it or not, A showroom bike ain’t no different than used pair of shoes, It might feel ok, but it just ain’t the same.

A little surprised at all the negative comments made above from bike fans. I will watch the teutuls every night vs american idol or any of those other so called \talent\ shows that seem to flood the airwaves now. I back Sr 110% and give him full marks for booting both those doggers out of the company. Getting very tired of watching Mikey do nothing and expect to get paid for it. Have always missed Viny since he left and will definately be watching this new show just to see his smiling face again. And FYI, best bike to come out of that shop was the Mikey Vinny project and we all know who had most of the input on that build.

I thought the show had it’s ups and downs, when it came to Sr. and Jr. Alot of bad blow outs, ouch that’s gotta hurt when it’s your family. However, in the begining I don’t recall them building there own frames, light housings, rims, and a whole lot of other parts too many to mention, but as the show went on you must recall the new machinery they purchased for designing and fabricating “there own stuff” So yes they do build bikes from scratch!! And some nice ones to. I grant it some bikes aren’t for every one but each of those bike, somebody liked. Tell the truth!!

Paul Senior should just be flat-out-ashamed for disrespecting his son, not only in person but for all to see.
He just is NOT a good father, if I had had a son I would never had treated his like a bastard-junk-dog.
Sure, it was a lost of it done for TV and the ratings…
but get serious. Family is MORE important the the almighty $!

Nuf Said!

don’t miss the drama, show certainly went off the air quick after Jr. left… Jason Poole’s designs all look the same, only difference was color or graphics… as far as their bikes go, if I want something pretty to exibit, buy an OCC “custom”… the last bike they build, {scratch that, assembled} I liked was the Snap-On bike, actually looked comfortable to ride, after you remove all the bolt on shiny shit… give me a 160 or 180 rear tire anyday, a 300 looks impossible to steer with…

The show their personalities and their bikes suck.

Never could stand Sr., without Jr. and Vinnie, it will be interesting to see how long Sr. stays afloat. Nobody can make it on arrogance and “old school” styling alone. As for the show, I found it entertaining, but it got old after awhile. I sure won’t miss it.

Good luck to Jr. – he works hard, and really is a very talented designer/fabricator whether you like his designs or not. I don’t like Picasso’s art, but each to their own opinion, right?

The truth of the matter is orange county choppers has NEVER built a chopper. They have put quite a few together but never built anything. Yes it did make them rich but so does winning the lottery. The whole chopper thing was just a fad that ran its course. It all started with Jesse James when the first motorcycle mania show aired. After that everyone wanted a fucking chopper and wanted to be billy bad ass. Hell I can put a motorcycle together but that doesnt make me a bike builder. I say rock on to all the true BIKE BUILDERS out there like Jesse James, Eddie Trotta, Hank Young, Billy Lane, Bill Dodge, Kendell Johnnson, and the late “GREAT” Indian Larry. Just to name a few.

I’m an old school biker. Certified Harley mechanic. I saw some decent ideas and fairly good work done. A lot of the “drama” was bound to have been scripted. In a real shop, throwing parts and tools around at one another will get you an ass whoopin’ at the least, if you do it enough times. These guys promoted themselves pretty well , right into some big bucks. The Hollywood types that bought some of these bikes were paying top dollar. Pretty smart old man and son. They’ll be back . We’ll watch. And the rich get richer. Enjoy the show. But don’t expect to do too many poker runs with ‘em.

I think that they should put mikey, paul jr. ,paul sr. and vinnie in seperate rooms, allow them no intercommunication, and give them all the parts and pieces of identical bikes to assemble. Hell, givem a few days to do it, and lets see who really know how to put one together. Hands down, my money will be on Vinnie…..Should be the Vinnie show, as he is the only mechanic amount the bunch….

Paul Sr. has some SEEERIOUS issues when it comes to relationships. Glad he is out of the public eye casting his dark “old-school only”shadow over custom motorcycles. His behavior did not help mainstream America understand the thrill of motorcycling one bit. I hope he uses some of the tons of money he made doing the TV tripe to get some professional head help.

Some of the things OCC built were interseting but I’d like to see anyone of those boys take one of those backbreakers out for a several hundred mile ride. Most of the machines were just wierd junk; form over function. Glad they are gone.

It is a shame that cagers have made the Tuttles into some kind of idols. What they don’t realize is that the real biker lifestyle dosen’t need all of the hype, glory and monetory riches that the Tuttles have gained. The lifestyle is a simple one where real people who ride (any type of skooter in any shape or form) enjoy life without boundries and without the need to be in the pubic eye. It is a community where people help other people and do it because it feels good not because it will give them more money. When real bikers ride for a cause they do it for the people who need it not for self gain.
Maybe if Paul Sr. had stuck to his roots and remembered where he came from he would have taught those ethics to Paulie JR. and he wouldn’t
have a son who dosen’t care about anything but himself and how much money he has.
It’s a real shame that any company would back such a selfish group in these economic times.
I say bring back shows like Biker Build Off and Build it or Bust. Real people building real bikes w/ their own hands for the good of the people.

I liked the show. Yes some of the bikes were on the corny side but they built some kick ass theme bikes for good reasons. The P.O.W. And the Fire Bike. Would I ride one of them? Probably not. Was it entertaining? Of course. Lots of people like to see that they aren’t the only dysfunctional family on the planet.
The show opened the eyes of many people that never sat on a bike and gave ideas to some of us that ride everyday.
Who cares about the pissing and moaning. That’s life.
The guys made money the way they knew how.
I wish I had the money to start up my own motorcycle shop.
I have the ideas just not the finances.
Good luck to Sr and Jr
They truly got the break and took full advantage of it.
Cheers

Wow lots of drama =$$$$$$ all that for putting a bike together.Damn someone get the frame and the parts grab a camera lets get rich .Poor jessie at least he builds everything.

i did get into the first few episodes when it came to australia,as did a lot of other blokes, but it wernt long before the bikes were secondery and the other shit that they bunged on about made up 80% of the show,l thought vinnie showed style when he quit, the bloke put in heaps and seems to have got bugger all credit, and without rick knocking out the tanks, stuff all was hand fabricated,l dont consider cmc machines as hand made parts,ya need to check out blokes like scotties choppers, youll see a true craftsman. still after all l just wrote,l would give my left ball to have the oppertunity to build rides with the workshop facilities all the usa shops have, but we do ok with dirt floors and tin sheds, kinda forces you to be creative, and make ya own parts.bottom line is bikes have gone gangbusters since all the build off shows,so no matter what our opinions are bikes are the winners

I think it`s great that Sr and Jr are goin head up.They both have great ability in building bikes.Old School vs New School, plus Vin&Mikey& Cody. Can`t wait to see it.I agree with the guy about Mikey,he was given every chance to make it at OCC and he just pissed it away.I`m also glad Jr isn`t makin grills anymore. They sucked.

my son and I work together and have plenty of disagreements.but there is a love that is unconditional.we do not need a tv show to help us decide to compete against each other. let SR and JR have their owen show.my you both build on.

Coming from a family automotive business; I can relate to the “rub” between Sr. and Jr. However, both generations were/are very talented. That’s why I watched the program. I probably wouldn’t run one of their bikes on the street, but the craftsmanship was interesting and inspiring. As some others have written, Paul Sr. has come up through the ranks and has “stuck his neck out” financially to start his business–my hat is off to him. And on the other hand, his kids have not realized what a great “leg-up” their father has given them in the business world. I seems you don’t know how good you had it until its gone! Best wishes to all of OCC’s staff & employees.

When are you all going to realize that “American Chopper” is nothing but a weekly PAID CORPORATE COMMERCIAL for which ever corporation has the budget. If you think about it…6 hours of television exposure for your company and you get a new promotional toy at the end. Not a bad proposition for a corporate board seeking exposure. And you all thought it was about motorcycles???? what a laugh…. shut off the tube & go for a ride.
Wandering Biker

Good luck, Paul and J&P Cycles.

Loved the show; hated the bikes. I liked watching the assembly of the bikes and the process of coming up with the designs. Some were very pretty, some were very very ugly, but nota one of themlooked fit to ride. Who can ride for more than a few minutes sitting in the shape of the “C” in the OCC logo. For me comfort and safety will always outweigh looking “cool”. Go figure.

they were fun to watch I think the whole break up thing is good for all we love you guys keep building the nicest looking bike in the world and forget this BS you see here hey you know what they say you don’t like something don’t watch it and why would you watch something you like it makes no sence like my spelling all you crybabies shut up and change the channnnel if you dont like it don’t watch its that simple like most of your minds

More people riding bikes that cannot u-turn

The old Man is a rat bastard, when it came right down to it, he reminded me of what my own rat bastard Dad said to me one time….Blood may be thicker than water, but it aint thicker than dollar bills!!! So to all of ya money-grubbin at all costs capitalists, keep watchin or change the channel, its still ( I THINK) America! Jr. and Vinnie and Mikey will probably put a hurt on the old man, but I think the whole scene has been contrived by the network….Can you say RATINGS…translate…$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Like them or not they are living the dream. Do I agree with their style or the way they build bikes? Not necessarily they all look the same to me. Can Sr build a bike yes and so can Jr and the others. They build some of the higher cost bikes and they just started building production bikes the last few years. With the economy looking like it does and the future not looking any better the ability for them to expand while others die is an accomplishment in itself. As for the drama I didn’t like it either. Will there be more? probably, which is what brought the show into the non biker homes. I liked all of the build-off shows, I like seeing the mechanics and painters bring a machine to life. As for assembling parts all of the builders do it to some extent. Indian Larry used TP motors and I didn’t see anyone else building engines, trannys, primary, or other main components. They built frames, customized sheet metal and had the paint, powder-coat, seats, and chrome done. I bet the parts came from the same suppliers that the catalogs offer. What I did like on the build-off shows was the friendly competition and friendships made and the brotherhood of bikers being shown for what it is a family. So quit complaining and watch the show you know you will, and most of all bring back the build-off shows!!!

I glanced at all the all the other comments and for a bunch of guys who don’t watch the show you sure know a lot about it! While I do agree there is a lot of fake drama, it’s still interesting to see what they turn out. I also liked West Coast Choppers and if Jesse James wasn’t so busy whoring around he could probably still be on the air also. The fact that the Tuetels started in a basement and turned it into what they have now is pretty damn impressive. If you don’t like it I’ll bet there is an off button on your remote. As far as building your own bike from scratch; That is extremely impressive and my hat is off to all of you who can do it. However, I and everyone else has the right to ride any bike they want whether it’s homemade or bought from a showroom floor. I can afford just about any bike out there and I bought a Honda VTX because it will last for the rest of my life and beyond. It was built in Maryville, Ohio so don’t give any ‘buy American’ crap. All the Harley shirts I’ve ever seen are not made in America. If you don’t think they make more profit on their shirts and souveniers than their bikes, I’ll bet you are wrong. I can and do enjoy riding every bit as much as anyone. If what you ride is more important than the actual riding, you are missing the point of riding in the first place. I guess I got on a rant and I’m not defending the show as much as I’m defending their right to pursue the market as they see fit. If you don’t like it, don’t buy an OCC bike and don’t watch the show. It’s still a free country even though Obama is trying his damndest to destroy us!

I see a lot of comments talking about the Teutels and their show and complaining about Sr vs Jr – but hey – you were watching and that’s all about ratings…

A biker “soap opera”; contrived, planned and wildly successful. I don’t live far from them either, but I never went to their shop or store(s). While at an MDA charity run at Moroney’s HD, they had their NY Yankee bike their; of course my 6 year old wanted to see it. When my kid was trying to talk to one of the “boys” and they totally ignored them, I told them where they could stick it. To be fair, even a broken clock is right twice a day, so they did seem to do some decent charity work…

whatever might have happened on the show, when it got down to brass tacks, both would let it out and cry and admit they loved each other. there is an old saying, you can pick your friends but not your family. they are father and son, thjey just cant work together, been there and done that with my dad. love him as a dad, but not as a work partner. best of luck to both. david

i agree with what the brothers ahead of me have said about these posers. paul sr, in my neighborhood of roosevelt, new york would have been shotgunned in his fat face pushing the billy bad ass ticket. his son is genetically related to the bloke and is treated like a fool by a clown who is so much the mid aged adolescent wannabe \biker\ you see today. no code of \proper\ to live by, trailer queen posers who start abike up in april and put it on the battery tender in september: have to keep the miles low for resale 2000 a year on average and couldn`t qualify for an iron butt as a family together mileage wise. so much that passes for being a serious rider today seems anemic. the show blows and we keep nonsense like that alive because we watch that retard white folk reality show and can`t help but shake our head at it`s stupidity[wrestling mentality entertainment]. i am ashamed at myself to only ride 12 to 15k a year and 10 to 11 months a year[ snow and ice]. please kill this show and the gay-ass son`s of anarchy with it. if you are not one percenters you are the other riders. sorry to vent-feel better though.

The show was entertaining at first but then the lose of Vinnie Dimartino, and Cody sucked. Vinnie clearly put up with Jr’s. bull sh#$. Jr. was never around leaving the rest of the crew stuck with no direction because Jr had the final say on how the bikes were built.

I do not know how everyone else feels but I think Vinnie was left holding the bag. I never got over this, and Mikey, what a waste. Most people would have loved to be in their place with all that opportunity at their disposal. I would be embarrassed to walk the streets with everyone knowing how stupid I was…

I would not waste my time watching Jr on the screen again, but the dad Sr. I like for some reason.

I was sad to see the Teutuls breakup. I know it seems that Paul Sr was an inconsiderate jerk, but I would ask you to look at his feelings about the business he started and worked hard to build up. Could it be that our sons and daughters have come to expect that their lives are priviliged? I think that Paul Sr wanted his son to be more serious about OCC as a business. It was difficult for him to understand when Paul Jr came in late much of the time, or did not have the courtesy to let his father know where he was. How did it look to the other employees at the shop when the owners son was irresponsible and did not seem to care about the business. The two Pauls made quite a team and together they built some of the most outrageous and outstanding theme choppers ever. It may have looked at times that Paul Jr was doing all the work, but the bikes were built in the shop that the father started. The Tuetul family was entertaining, wild, different, and it is too bad that they could not have had more consideration for each other. Together they were unique and certainly gave us a look at motocycling we had not seen before. I will miss them.

The only difference between the Teutles business and most others is they were put on tv. They stayed on tv because the majority of people watching liked bikes and the drama that they saw, like I’ve seen on jobs I’ve worked at that wasn’t on tv. Your commenters have called them clowns, bitches, drunk & drug head. If I could do what they do,and it made me rich, I could act like a clown, bitch, drunk or drughead also, and your commenters would too, i’d bet, whether they deny it or not.

Everybody bitchin’ bout them must have watched
the show a couple times! Think any of the bitchers
ever built a ” bolt on bike” from the ground up?

No Matter what a son should stand with his father no if’s and’s or buts about it.

Oh say it ain’t so! No more Orange County Clowns? What will I ever do? I got sick of these airheads after I saw the first Jet bike with all the bolt-on trinkets. Who in their right mind would be caught dead on such a stupid looking sled? I live about 30 minutes from their shop and I could’nt believe the crowds that used to show up there. Now with their new “World Headquarters”, Sr. tries to put on parking lot parties to draw in the biker wannabees to follow him on a ride through the mountains, oooooooh I wish I did’nt miss that one.

The teutles are a couple of bitches, crying who came in late from lunch, and who didn’t call nubby for the paint, then paul sr. would go sit at his giant desk never doing anything getting paid, then go out and throw tools around yelling, punching holes in doors. paul sr. can’t even build a bike,I say OCC was a worthless show.I agree with other people, all they do is assemble parts. They can’t even touch REAL builders like big bear choppers, jesse james .Who actually make the bike from scratch…… no great loss they split up. WHO CARES!!!!!!!!loosers. all they are are rich cry babies..

I have 4 sons and for me to treat them like sr did jr.Id expect to be kicked square in the caahoeknees. Not that my sons would do that either they were brought up with love and respect. What I see is Sr being a ex drunk and drughead. He was a mean drunk and drug user.I wish nothing but the best for Jr sr and their mother that watched the rise and fall of her family she loves .God Bless America this is what makes our country the greatest country on this Earth.

Motorcycle awarenwess;yes
Good motorcycles; not often
Good TV; not

Now that the Tuttles are filthy rich, why don’t they design a cool motorcycle that the average Joe can afford?

I too think their shows are WAY OVER dramatized. Get back to basics, show more fabrication, tips, etc related to building a class scooter, less drama.

I could really give a crap about personal issues.

In the first Shows of OCC, they wqere interesting as I have always liked watching Paul Jr. implicate his ideas into their bikes, But, as the shows went on they got more off of the Mc’s topic and more onto the family quarrelling topic. This always turned me off, as this got more ridiculous, the TV got turned to other channels.
When I watch an MC show I want to watch the people building MC”s and not air their family quarrels on national TV.
I am sorry to say that ruined their series for me!

Guys like Indian Larry , Ron Simms , Arlen Ness and others are the real bike builders. OCC became bike assemblers as the show progressed , far from how they started. They let marketing and greed take over there original buisness plan.

No mater what they got all of to watch them no mater how god or how bad it was. I don’t think that anyone gets alng with Paul Sr. the one thing that he did do right he is making a lot of money and now days thats not bad if you can do that. I read some where they thought that Micky was a loser, The guy that said that needs to look at his bank aact. and then look at Mickys I would bit that Micky has more,
They are no differnet than the rest of us except they took a chance and made a lot of money out of it. If I could get some of it I would fight with Paul Sr to. They are doing something for us, we have something to bitch about. now we can leave each other alone. God Bless you all.

OCC- “American Choppers” was a very entertaining show, yes they out sourced alot of stuff, yes they quarrelled like an old bull and a young bull..it was entertainment. However I have a friend in south central Kansas that builds bikes (choppers) in his small 20′ X 20′ garage that are alot nicer than the OCC stuff……Oh, and Paul Yaffe in Phoenix, Az. is way up the list from the OCC guys…. Thanxx Paul Yaffe for the Arizona Centennial ” Copper Chopper” you’re building…..

God knows, I’m one of the happy ones to see Paul Jr. come back to motorcycles. I was turning 40 years old when I bought my first bike, because in the year prior I started watching American Chopper.
This show reminded me of the love I’ve always had of motorcycles and left the idea of it in the wind since I could never afford it. As I became settled in life and made more money, this show brought me to the stage of my life that I wanted to do something just for ME !!!! I’ve been riding ever since. In my heart, I will always pray that this family forgive each other and come back together the way a family should. Nothing is worth all this termoil….let it go guys and get your family back. In the meantime, I’m happy to see Paul Jr. back.
Good luck !!!!

The show was great in the beginning but turned to crap in the end, Paul Jr. was always the talent on that show and the old man bluffed his way thru every episode. Looking forward to seeing Jrs. ne stuff

Holy shit here’s another silver platter for ya Paully… hope ya don’t screw this one up too….. you should try like the rest of us do and work like a dog and earn some respect and a reputation for what you’ve accomplished…. try a scratch build without all the fancy parts man…….

The show was cool at the start, but all the arguing was a real downer. Paul jr, Vinny and Mickey were cool, but Mickey is a real whiner. Hey they made some money. I wish a camera crew was in my garage filming me messin around and arguing with my wife!

I am actually surprised Vinnie is going back with Jr. He deserved a whole lot more than what the Teutles gave him, as does Rick. Those two were the craftsmen. Paul Sr. once stated on the Donnie Deutsch show they had earned “hundreds and hundreds of millions” on worldwide OCC brand sales (apparel, store crap)…and they probably have. I agree with the earlier comment regarding their increasing displays of not only wealth, but displays of trashing perfectly good vehicles that many of us unemployed would be happy to own. It was fun to watch the first few years, then got stale. I visited the old OCC strip mall store (before the new behemoth shop/store combo) where the theme bikes were on display. At that time (2006) the bikes on display had nice paint jobs, but close inspection revealed crappy welds where Jr. added to the frame someone else produced. I would not ride their products, they seemed lacking in safety!

I agree. The show was good in the beginning. But all the arguing was a real downer. Vinny is the only real bike builder on the show. Mickey is a f-in whiner. I can’t believe he’s on tv. F-it they made some money and good for them.

The Tuttle’s are bolt on cry baby’s. Spoild rotten and showing off arrogance and weath. Jr blames everybody else and is nothing but a pampered pup. Real Bike Builders would do it with their soul, and it shows. I will not be attending to see such mediocracy.

Paul Jr. was the new-age designer, Paul Sr. was the old-school bike builder ( before corporate screwed him up) Vinnie and crew were the fabricators. The show was really good at the beginning then the fighting and the bike building started to suck. The same bike with different bars and sheetmetal does not constitute a new bike. I personally go for the old-skool. Live on Sr. and get back to building road bikes instead of show junk.

OUTSTANDING! I agree that it was sometimes difficult to watch Paul Sr. and Paul Jr. go at it since I am ultimately interested in the bikes, not dad and son fighting – but as you say in your article, they are GOOD for the motorcycle community. It is in fact, without a doubt, that they are the reason I started riding again after 18 year off a bike. The show not only got me riding again, but got me customizing my Harleys. First a Wide Glide and now a Street Glide. Without their show, I would probably still not be riding. Thanks Teutuls! Now, “Can’t we all just get along”?

In the beginning they were good….they actually worked on bikes. The show jumped the shark way back…it turned into a comedy of errors….I stopped watching along time ago…I ran into jr and senior at the rapid city airport back in 2007….jr was alright but senior was a asshole. I lost all respect for him right there….he was “too good” for the normal man. I could care less if the show lives or dies…there are lots of other builders out there who are better than they are. I have to say that I really did enjoy watching vinnie….that man has class….. Go through life doing a good turn and never forget where you came from…..like the teutuls seem to have…..

High priced, low imagination, assembled not fabricated, unridable corporate junk that true craftsman not only can’t afford but wouldn’t ride anyway.

Been riding & wrenching 42 years. Give us a show with the nuts and bolts, and not all the fluff/personality conflict. It gets old fast! Don’t and won’t watch it!

Nooooo! Not Paul Jr.! What happened to his Boutique? Isn’t he have a show on HSN? The truth of the matter is, it was Vinnie and Rick who were the true artists on that show. All Paul Sr. had was an idear. And Jr. never got over the fact that Sr. was the owner and he was an employee just like everyone else. How about “The Vinnie and Ricky Show…with Mikey”.

I second the the post on Vinnie. He’s the real craftsman, with sense and class. If he didn’t have some of the big tools, I believe he could get the job done just as well.

If you want to support the real talent on the show do it with Vinnie and Rick THEY ARE THE REAL BIKE BUILDERS!!!! the rest of the crowed makes me want to ZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz get the point!!!

The first season was alright, then the EGO’s took over. I stopped watching cause I wanted to see some honest builds, not B.S.. There are too many good builders out there for me to waste my time on these clowns.

mike paul whoever the show is a fake daddy is mean to paul so mike goes out and smokes crack to get away from the muscle bound idiots.Any body can assemble a bike and say i built it keep them off of tv along with pawn stars and american pickers realaty tv sucks leave that shit for the old people stop bitchen hop on the bike and ride and put jp parts on since harley cant get u the parts u need.

Won’t miss the show. What it did do for me was show all the new technology that does all the work for you. All their bikes started looking the same to me in the end. I think Paul Jr. and Vinny are the real artists in the whole mix and if they would get away from all the insane media and money sponser crap I believe they could build real hand made stuff. computers and machines have made them lazy.

I was happy to hear the Tutels are returning.I wonder if Rick will be returning as well.I always considered him to be the real talent on the show.

Personally,I’m happy to hear of the return of the Tutels.I wonder if Rick will return with them.I always considered him to be the talented one.

You know every one of you on here that are dissing occ I’m sure watched it every night it was on. I think the real posers are you all. I came to love the teutuls. Ya they argued a lot and there was a lot of drama but you show me one family that doesn’t have either one of those. Hell I just wish they would have made me that trike. I can’t wait till the new shows start. I’m so excited they are coming back..

I am not sure who wanted to see nothing but family fighting on a show. I hope Paul Jr. has enough sense to get his Dad away and his ego in control. I think if he does that he may survive.

They build bikes to sit in a showroom , a beautiful bike with a 1gallon tank come on??? Really I would be scared to take one of their bikes up to 80 MPH for any distance. What really pisses me off is the guys in the shop don’t seem to be getting a fair share. You see Paul Sr. House and cars and Jr’s too, then take a look at what the other guys have.

Who cares about the 2 Pauls? A show with Mikey, Vinnie and Rick would be much more entertaining. After all, OCC used everyone elses labor and just added a few fancy parts created on their mega-million sponsor provided machines to do their so-called bike builds. I’ll bet they had to hire someone special just to run the machines. Vinnie and Rick are the true fabricators and Mikey is the comic relief. They make a great team.

I have always been a big fan of American Chopper and they are the reason that my whole family rides Harleys Davidson’s today. I know fathers and sons don’t always see eye to for I have sons of my own and sometimes you wonder if they are yours and I think my sons may think the same about me from time to time. Never the less this show started it all for us and after buying seven Harleys for everyone to ride we have something to release the pressures of everyday life and it brings us all that must closer together and this show was the start of it all. I am sure they are the reason for countless couples and families like myself to get involved riding together – Thank you Paul Jr. & Paul Senior

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Well the WWF of the motorcycle world is back to rake up more money. Well a family fight is one way to generate interest. Bet they laugh at family bbqs an alllllllllllllllllllllllllllll the way to the bank.

Well the WWF of the motorcycle world has a new show. Guess thats one way to breath new life into it. After all u gotta keep the dollars rollin in. Hope the wannabees like the new show just the same s…. under 2 names lol.

Paul jr who? Vinny is the class act here a real “picasso” of the motorcycle world! Rock on Vinnie!

IN regards to OCC, in my opinion thier tourist trap shop, their personality clashes and their bikes SUCK

NO tell it is not true no more of these guys……….

Now Now!
Just as Paul Jr stated, as He personally built the Fire Bike “It takes years to become a skilled fabricator like me” I bet it does!!

the frist season might be real but the rest was fake stay off of the tv and be true to the biker life just glad jon and kate plus 8 is back on tv

Most of the are show only. And too much drama.

Most of the are show only. And to much drama.

I liked the initial story, small shop, alittle family dynamics, talented shop support. I watched to see what combination and brands of parts they used, what tools or machines were employed, and if the final product was a safe bike or just a advertisement. I got turned off by too much fighting (staged or not), OCC logo overload, display’s of growing wealth, and the appearence of not distributing some of that wealth to those who did the hands-on. The shows with granny, and the fabricators getting the bikes they worked on may have been the best along with the troop support shows.

Good for Motorcycling? I guess. When they were at the Motorcycle show in NYC you couldn’t get near that end of the building. I guess somebody must like them but there a lot of posers out there who don’t know any better. For the record I don’t.

If nothing else they made Thursday nights less boring. There is a lot of good and bad to be said fore the Tuttles on TV.
What it did we should all be grateful for. It brought custom bikes mainstream. Let’s face those guys did and got good ratings for doing it the stuff that gave bikers bad names in the day.
When did you hear of the average person sitting back and laughing at a biker throughing a couch through a window? Drag racing in a parking lot or driving an SUV through a wall
Does any of this sound familar from the day and headlines of Bikers Take over City and drive…………
Get the point?
Love ‘em, hate ‘em, regardless of the primadonna complex of Jr. or the controling personality of Sr. they brought favorable attention to our way of life doing what we all did but hid in the past
Welcome back on I wish it was senior!!! I’m old school guy!!!!!

Looks like more of the one off unpleasant riding beasts over exposing motorcycles. We aren’t all that way. Couldn’t Jr think of a more creative company name? How about Purple Co Chops. drama, Stay tuned…. more to follow….

I agree with the biker awareness part. But aside from the decorative artwork with some metal stock, they are bolting up other peoples stuff. That happens all over the country in backyard garages everyday. The designers of that stuff are the real artist. Lots of guys could do what they do if they had the sponsorships and didnt have to go to work to fund it themselves. Jr. is a cry baby, Mikey is a loser. Sr actually built a company building cool bikes, then sold out. Then TV got involved and turned them all into posers. Sr. should have told the TV folks to buy a bike or go away. I would not bolt on an OCC part to my scooter cuz then I would be a poser too. Shut the fuck up and ride!

I’ve been a biker and mechanic for 40 years and I got tired of the greed and drama of the tuttles because of the need for fame. Bring back the old school bike builders like Jesse james and Billy Lane and others like them. They fabed parts without all the corporate money. anybody with enough money can make it like the Tuttles. Show us the little people that really work for what they have. Get us back to the real American biker.

There is so many builders in this country that are alot better than OCC ! They build there bikes with computers more then there hands ! The bikes are just for show more then they are built to ride.I think the show should be cancled!!!!

Ever since this show has been on its just been a bitch fest between two bone heads who dont build bikes they just assemble parts that outhers have made.I didnt even know the show was off the air.

Anyone can build a bike the way they do it.. Do they build the motor, frame, fenders? For the most part the answer is no, they out source it. They don’t even paint the bikes that they say they build. Like I said anyone can take a box full of parts that they get from someone else and put them together and say “hey look, I built a bike”. Ok maybe not anyone but most of us could. Bike builders, yea right.

The earlier shows were interesting to watch as they invented themselves. However, in the end, what they created were Frankenstein egos. Besides, I think several of American Chopper fans have tuned out and are now watching Pawn Stars.

I think the bikes they build are trash. But then again I think the bikes Jesse James builds are also of the same catagory. Having been involved with Harley Davidson for 45 years it is beyond my understanding why people like these trashed up bikes. Fire plugs here and spiderman that. garbage. Give me the nice clean look of a sanitary build with inovation. I am used to deal with Arlen Ness and John Harmon in the 70′s. Now there was inovation and style. Can’t say much for Arlen’s work of today or it could just be his son’s work. Just give me the clean , workable , no garbage machine.

The 1st few years of OCC were the best. As time wore on, and success went to the Teutels’ collective heads the show got corny, what with driving pickups into ponds, thrashing cars, throwing furniture through walls….

Hopefully this time the show will 1. bring Vinny back, and 2. stay focused on bike building, and the principals will leave the ‘comedy’ to the professionals.

Paul Jr…so very talented, ahead of his time and with Vinnie back, wow! that man was great with fabs…..should be, no wait, will be awesome I won’t miss a show………;=))

I find some of the negative comments interesting. It is one thing to say anyone can do the design/fabrication but it is truly another to actually do it, no matter what resources are at hand. Hmm, is there a bit of jealousy? I’m glad to see Paul Jr. back with Vinnie & Mike. The show was always entertaining and the designs are, well I’m just down right green with envy. Wish I had the money for one. I’ve visited their store with many of the bikes on display, well worth a road trip either as a destination or stop-by.

GOD Bless I’m . I’ve NEVER Seen a REAL “Chopper ” Made by them yet.
Custom Bikes but nothing CHOPPED from a stock bike. Chopper = a motorcycle that has been altered / having parts chopped off .
Where they get off calling the “Choppers” insults the True Chopper MC .
The show was ruined be the drama and domestic violence of senior . They made some nice & odd stuff but come on. Back Street Rules !

i dont own a tv,saw those guys show( just parts of) acouple times, not interesting, cept for the acutual make of parts ect, and putting the bike together, thats ok,but to watch all the time, thats a waste of time to me.

Say what you want, but Jr. was the one with the creativity and unique designs. Sr. started the company with his outdated old-school designs, but it was Jr. that created their unique bikes (with huge help from Vinnie & co, no doubt). Somehow I think he will be more successful without Sr’s irritating redneck demands all the time.
And does Mikey do anyhow?? Talk about riding-the-coat-tails!

I dont miss their tantrums, while people are trying hard to stay on top of their bills and trying to keep their ride, the tuttles with all their money find it necessary to destroy anything they want. I have seen their bike up close, they are over rated. I agree with others Vinnie and the other builders are what we watch. Jr cant make it on his own, he needs Vinnie and the others. I dont see anyone in our riding group buying anything jr designs or endorses. I like patronizing J and P Cycle and hope Jr doesnt become a part of their business.

Anyone with any intelligence knows that you should never go into business with family members or friends. It never works out.

OCC-FU Theme bikes SUCK!!!!

OCC-FU

We don’t need anymore DRAMA, or GREED!
All the show’s were scripted BS!
How much fabrication was actually done? Most of the stuff was ordered or sent out for others to complete.
Put some of the REAL bike builders back on TV like Billy Lane, Eddie Trotta, Kendall Johnson, or even Jessy James. We will never again see the talent of Indian Larry, but he inspired some to go beyond “bolt on parts”.
I could care less about OCC, the only two who had any talent was Vin & Rick!
Bring back the real garage, back workshop, talented “fabricators”, and then I will come out of the shop to watch!

i think the should get back to basics get down to building bikes not just for the high end clients and stay together . there family they should setle there differences and stay together. No matter what Sr. still the father and they cant change or replace that.

Most of the theme bikes they built on the show were un-rideable for anything more than a short camera opportunity or from the trailer to the staging area at the \un-veiling\. The Teutuls went \Hollywood’ and allowed their respective media handlers to dictate their actions. The TV folks fanned the flames in what was already a disfunctional family by telling each one that the \show would be nothing without you\ or \you are carrying them while they talk behind your back\ etc, just to get ratings. They didn’t care that they were damaging real people’s lives and wrecking a family. None of the Teutals were bright enough to realize they were being played.
The truth is that Sr can only do retro bobbers because someone showed him how way back when and Jr thinks all his ideas are genius, but hates to get dirty. Mikey is in need of some serious long term therapy. Vinnie, Rick and the shop guys carried the Teutuls and put up with their egos because they wanted to build bikes and there aren’t many decent jobs around there.

I think Paul JR was great for OCC. He may of had a lot of bolt ons but they were bad. Sr needed to stop worrying about what JR AND MICKEY WERE DOING SO MUCH THEY MADE THE SHOW…..Do hope they can fix there family .I know what its like. I have seen Vinney and cody a couple of times great guys

I don’t recall ever seeing Paul Sr doing much of anything relating to bike building. I got so tired of seeing and hearing him bitching and complaining all the time. What a _ick… I very much enjoyed the actual bike building aspect. They need to leave most of the family and private life crap out of the show and stick to building bikes. Someone here mentioned the money and greed factor as the cause of the family split and problems. I think that pretty well hits the nail on the head. I really don’t think Paul Sr would ever be pleased about anything – period. As far as I’m concerned they can leave him completely out of the new shows.

hope cody stayed with senior

buissness is buissness, and friendship is friendship, you have to seperate the two. If it wernt for senior jr wouldnt have shit! He needs to pull his head out of his ass and do whats right !Without vinnie and rick’s sacrafice as team players they wouldnt have made it. Give some of the garage builders the same sponsors and see what they do and look at arlen nesses achievements without theyre kind of bullshit

I would like to see Paul Jr. build a bike with an engine other than a Harley engine.Maybe an old UJM four or MotoGuzzi,or even maybe the new Triumph Thunderbird. Also make so it handles descent,no hard tail frame.Have a real swing arm with shocks that work,in other words a bike you could actually use in the real world.

This gives me douchebumps just thinking about it!

i injoyed occ program, although i would never be able to aford to buy one of the occ built bikes. i was enterested in how the two deferant types of builds came about. i will be 66 my next birthday, and istill ride and contiune to do so as long as i can. vinnie and paul jr along with rick and a vist from paul sr every now and then, should make things interesting.

I grew up riding wartime (wwII) ’45 flatheads and old knucks and my buds had pans. Back then everyone riding a chopped scoot was a criminal (to the local PD) for me (at 58 years old) to be able to turn on the old TV and see bikes and bikers actually being in the mainstream of life ( no matter how contrived or phoney) the program is a step forward IMHO for people to finally accept (or “get it”) motorcycle riders as real people! My current bikes are a ’66 Electaglide and an ’05 Springer Softail….Later…Rick

i love mikey paul jr is great bike bilder sr is old school and loves his mom i have lots of respect for him.i loved the pow bike the best.i love the show old school.

Hi I’m Paulie i’m opening a boutique with my wife. Holy crap how ugly was the Coleman grill? I wonder if anyone could fail at designing a bike? Really how hard is it yo incorperate a wrench into a craftsman bike? Really? You whould think when they built the caterpillar bike they would have put tracks on the back. BUT NO Paulie isn’t smart enoght to design that, it has to come off a shelf or Rick has to make it. Shit look at me wasting my time writing about this ass clown when I should be in bed!!!

Just build the bikes…..Leave the Drama behind…Maybe incorporate some Hot Rods in there building….I do in “Spikes Hot Rod n Scooter Garage”……..They go together…..

i love the show puley is great i love the old school i wish i had the money to do my bike as nice as theres

I hope they will remember it is all about the bikes. That is why I watched. I found myself always saying, out loud,” come on, get back to the bike” more and more. Somehow I still watched and was more disapointed the longer the show went on. You know the split was the planned way to end the show, All shows come to an end sometime. Even LARRY KING will end someday soon. Please remember guys, We love the Bikes and want to see more of the build. Hope it works out.

i love them all the bikes are great the pow was the best

I’m not excited about this at all.

The custom motorcycle market has moreorless burst and they are trying to stay afloat doing whatever they can. I’d have more respect for them if they pimped each other out on the street corner.

Whether you love them or hate them or somewhere in between, there’s a place for everyone. I don’t understand all the negative BS posted. Yes, you have your opinions, as I have my own. Im just glad to hear that they are still doing what they love and doing something with their lives, and (talent). I hope it works out for them.

Well let’s all hope that they bring some of the creativity and know how, show how back to the show. If we want girly (no disrespect) drama, we can watch the kardashians. Lets get back to the nuts and bolts along with some creative thinking on a bike building show. Ok, maybe they wont get the Muffy and Buffy audience but hey who cares. I like to watch the old show but for the ideas they came up with. Now with Vinnie and Jr. working together along with Mikey for the humor, I’ll be watching.

Mike Rylander SAYS IT ALL AT THE TOP OF THIS

COMMENT PAGE….. 7/15/2010

NOTHING MORE TO BE SAID!!!!!!!!

Unfortunatley it will work and generate Jrn millions

cause the old syaying allways rings true.. YOU CANT

GO BROKE CATERING TO BAD TASTE…. THERS MORE

PEOPLE WITH BAD TASTE THEN GOOD TASTE……

Look at the line to Versace opposed to Kmart!!!

Good Day To You All!…..

I don’t have TV, havn’t been up on whats been going on, but I do remember Mikey. He needs his own show doing…. whatever it is that he does. Gotta love him!

Although the show has shown us the different facets of the family, their craftsmanship shines through! One thing that stands out is their quest for excellence in quality. Americans greatly desire to buy American!
If the rest of the companies that are still in this country will take a notice in this, we will rise again to the top of industry. We invented this whole standard for which the world guages output.
We may be a little arogant, but we do have a positive track record!

Good to see Vinnie back ,I think Vinne was the backbone of the whole program, I would like to see more bike building instead of clowning around with Mikey. the program kinda lost the it’s purpose. the early shows were narrated by someone, know it’s like a sitcom

It takes all to build a bike and even though there was a lot of crap being slung around most have to remember it was a TV show for intertainment and to bring forth what we all have in common and that is wanting to see cool bikes and how they are built. I still watch the show everyday including the reruns on the Discovery channel and stay amazed at the craftmanship that came out of OCC. Good luck to all. I will be watching.

I’ll watch it and see how it goes. I think Vinnie and Rick are the real talents, I would absolutely watch THEIR show (if they had/get one).
If Vinnie is doin this new gig, what’s happened to V-force customs???

Glad to see Jr is back with Vinnie and Mickey. However would love to see Rick and Cody as part of the team. Vinnie is the mechanical genius and Rick is a true fabricator. Jr is an ideas guy and Mickey is just Mick.

As they did in the seventys, choppers are a dying fad……Paul Sr. worked hard in his early days, Jr. reaped the benefits…….Nonetheless, they made a pile of money…………Give me a stock Harley Davidson, that’s what its all about….Always was, always will be.

I always thought that Paul Jr. was the talent behind all of the bike builds. He was always calm & thinking while Sr. was always hot tempered & quick to accuse. I am glad that Jr. now has the opportunity to show what he can do along with Vinnie(also talented) & Mikey. All they need now is Cody.

Is there 15 minutes up yet? Good God give it a rest these guys suck!!!!!!!!

Show was good in beginning…not all about the money, actually family dram that was good to watch. Eventually all high end clients and all about there trips to Germany,..etc. Money and greed broke the whole family. what a shame. I like the old school chopper shows.

Hey ‘dru kekaualua’; if ‘Perfection is my (your) motto, you’d better learn to use spell check!
If you can’t spell or learn to proof read what you write, makes me wonder how much time you put into ‘perfecting’ your product.
As for the show, I’ll watch it. It was getting pretty stale and my interest waned after Jr decided he was going to open a Boutique!
Sheesh, talk about going from one extreme to another…

Drama,Drama,Drama, but can they actually build a chopper someone would really want and ride,I think not! i ageewith Chis bring back the real bike builders and save the Drama for your MAMA ?

paul jr. is a sad son and builder. he wouldnt have anything if it wasnt for sr. mike and vin are cool tho hope it works out for them.

Ilike both pauls.and mikey. Vinney has been on throddle junkeys with cody.

I’ve seen vinney, and cody on another show throddle junkies!! I like both pauls and mikey. They need to chill and quit trying to be top dog. There family.

Awsome I cant wait.

Hi,

I have been a big fan of American Chopper and have a idea for one of the new show, biker build off between Paul Jr. & Paul Senior with two people from the the general public helping, one on each of the teams. They help with the design and the build, bikes are given to these two people at the end of the show.

Yeti

Paul Jr. is a talentless, spoiled brat who is riding the coattails of all around him. Anyone could fab and build beautiful machines with the resources and sponserships that OCC had. The real talent is with Vin and Rick- they can not only build the machines, but they could do it in their garage! There is more talent scatterred across the country in garages and barns than could be broadcast. I don’t get excited about seeing someone bolt on a set of Paul Jr. officially licensed, special limited edition chrome covers for your chrome covers, I like to see a guy fab his own parts in his own garage!

I did not watch the show to listen to, or see these 2
arguing with each other. I wanted to see those cool
custom bikes they built. Nobody wants, or cares to see these guys fighting with each other again. The
producers need to put a clause in the contracts
stating there will be no arguing amongst the stars,
only showing off their skills as bike builders.

didnt like all paul jrs bikes, but some were cool.as far as sr goes.i get some of his beefs but family is family and they come first, work out your differences.i think he is just a cranky ex-alcoholic among other addictions.jr should be more responsible and respect his fathers work ethics.glad to see vinnie back.i think he was a big part of occ and could see why he left, hope to see cody.i think rick and others are ass kissers-good luck paul jr,the old man needs a few socks to his ego and a reality check,i mean he is estranged from most of his children and needs to work out problems before its to late

Paul Senior is just that a SENIOR.
From what I saw he very rarely got involved with builds when Jr. was there. Paul Jr. has an eye and even though he has a few of the BAD traits of his “old man” he is by far the better man. I have and always will respect my father, but I feel “Senior” does not deserve that. Yeah, business is business but when family gets you to a level you couldn’t do on your OWN, you are a loser! Nuh said!
Glad to hear you are around MIKEY!

A COUPLE YEARS AGO I WAS VISITING OCC HEADQUARTERS AND OVERHEARD MIKEY AND SR ARGUING IN A MEETING ROOM UPSTAIRS. THE FILM CREW WAS THERE ALSO. THE ARGUMENT WAS OVIOUSLY STAGED AS THEY WOULD PAUSE FOR ABOUT 5 MINUTES AND THEN START THE SAME ARGUMENT ALL OVER AGAIN. THEY DID THIS SEVERAL TIMES WHICH INDICATED TO ME, ALL THE ARGUING WAS DONE TO MAKE INTERESTING TV. VINNIE AND RICK WERE THE BACKBONE OF ALL THE BUILDS AND ARE TRULY TALENTED AND ONLY THEY NOW WHAT REALLY GOES ON WHEN THE CAMERAS ARE OFF.

Billy Lane is in prison

What losers. These guys aren’t custom bike builders, they’re parts changers. They don’t build anything, just bolt together somebody elses parts.

As a women who rides and enjoyed watching american chopper, i am happy to see vinnie back with the guys. I also hope he gets his fare share this time. And Paul sr. and Paul jr. remember it was the fans that got them were they are. Not charging for autographs.

Liked watching the show to see the fabrication. However the end result was always some crappy looking bike I wouldn’t be caught riding. It’s like a woman after 9 months of pregnancy – she gives birth – and it’s a space alien.

Read all the responses, funny thing is NOT one of these people know the Tutles or the bussiness. Hating one or the other is why the world is the way it is. When did we stop living in a free country. The hole show was based on and around the fighting. Anyone who has a bussiness and is successful knows IT takes everyone to get to the top. OCC didnt make it because of anyone person. It made it because of the hard work and effort of a TEAM. You dont like Paul Sr. for this and you dont like Paul Jr. for that. When do you stop looking at the bad and see the good. The world today is all about I DONT LIKE THIS OR DONT DO THAT TO ME. To me and this is only my opinion but you people who sit on your ass and complain should actually get off your ass and spend sometime doing something useful. Go teach your kids to rebuild a bike or ride a bike, heck teach them how to turn off the tv and lose some weight. The show was a good to learn from as they showed details of building custom bikes so you can do it yourself. Why not try it. Or it is easy to sit and whine and let our kids rotttttt there brains with PS3 the new baby sitter of America. Chris is right building a chopper is supose to be YOUR chopper not someone else, either is was talented just not that TALENTED> INDIAN LARRY one of the most talented motorcycle men but we lost him and few outside of us real bikers morned. I have personally seen a few of Paul Sr. choppers built by himself he has more talent then alot give him credit for. So inclosing quit wasting your money buy fancey parts and build your own and ride YOUR F*C*ING BIKE>

Motorcyclists are no different than anyone else—just smarter and quicker—at least the live ones are. OCC did build some great bikes!

I am glad they took these guys off the air. They were nobodies before they got in front of the camera. And their bikes? Are you kidding me? All they do is order parts from other vendors and put them together when they come in. They send all their parts out to be painted. They might fabricate a fender, gas tank or handle bars but that is about it! Puleez! Put some of the REAL bike builders back on TV like Billy Lane, Eddie Trotta, Kendall Johnson. The only reason these bike builders are not on TV is because they didn’t sell out like the Tuttels. They didn’t want to run their shops by a script to spice up the show for ratings.

Awesome! American Chopper motivated me to get back on the saddle again. I love my scoot and so does my old lady. I’m a big fan of Paulie, Mickey and Vinnie! Love their creativity and sense of humor. Can’t wait to see the new show. Good luck, guys…

Let’s all remember, American Choppers was a TV show. Marketed and scripted as such. I don’t believe for a second there are any legitamate beefs within the family circle. I for one was usually ammused by the bantor and drama that was scripted into each episode. I’ll tune-in to any show about bikes and riding so, I’m looking forward to the new series and old faces that it includes.

ya know. some times enough is enough. they did not do much for the indian motorcycle community. of which i ride a 2000 chief…. nor did they do anything for s/s….

certanily not role models for anyone

let then die in peace…. they got enough dough

Cody was with Vinnie at Vinnie’s shop V Force Customs.

Hope they don’t waste the first 3/4′s of the show rehashing old episodes.

They sorta lost me when they started driving their cars through the shop and… when they went to England and acted like total jerks and when they used crescent wrenches on their 75K bikes. I am a middle class guy sweatin it out for every penny I get. Those guys wreckin and ruining buildings and cars offended me.

Their in-fighting should not been done in front of shop employees. They have no reason to include their employees in their family dynamics. No wonder their world imploded. They lost sight of what a great thing I had going. They got greedy and blew it.

I know that OCC does a lot for charity. That I can respect. So, one has to take the good with the bad. That is however the only positive thing I got from the show.

Mikey, substance abuse? It happens and it’s not a shocker. I was glad to see he addressed his issues. I found him to be genuine and a calming force in the midst of the family storms. I agree, he does have to get a life and make his own way. His family should not be carrying him all the time.

And finally, would I buy a Jr. designed Coleman camp stove? Uh, no?

Wonder what will happen to Vinnie’s shop – V Force Customs? Cody was building bikes with Vinnie in his shop.

I agree – Rick has talent, too.

Hopefully they won’t waste the first 3/4′s of the show rehashing old episodes.

rick and vinnie were the working talent, paul jr. did have design inspiration,, mikey was useless. I think Vinnie probably left as he was being paid a regular man paycheck working for the teutals. where they were raking it in big time. Without Rick and Vinny it became old very quick.. They should try and get Rick to join them too.

If those idiots are bike builders, then I’m a gynecologist. The only cool custom they built was the Black Widow bike. Also the one that Sr. & Cody built.
Was that a pan or shovel, can’t remember.

as a bike builder. cody was to start mmi in orlando florida.but the school thought it would not be good for the students. as far as the show american chopper it was a great thing for the industry but also they were held by the discovery channels rules.the drama cant stand it we have to many people in this world thats all they live by is drama. yes mikey has issues but all in all a great show. paul sr. and paul jr. they are a family so there will be fighting so!!! this country was founded on hard work! not a bunch of drama queens with contracts pointing fingers. leave us bikers alone!

Not really excited about any of this. The whole group are a bunch of Prima Donnas. Their bikes are show pieces, not something you’d ride a great distance. Stick ‘em in a glass case and look at ‘em. Haven’t heard anything good about how they treat people that do buy their bikes. Nothing warranted about an OCC bike. If I put out the scratch they were charging for one of their tricked out rides, I’d expect a little support. And charging for autographs??? Puleeeeeze!! Shows ya, they ain’t bike builders, they’re TV stars.

Ultimately, I watched the show for the build and my fascination with the design and fabrication process. With Paul Jr.’s departure from OCC and a failing economy the show became senseless drama for the lack of anything better to broadcast. I hope Paul Jr.’s return will get all the talented people at OCC back to the network broadcasting design concepts and fabrication. Let’s see a great build once again.

It’ll be good to see Paul Jr, Mikey and Vinnie in one place. I hope it’s a show about building and riding bikes and not a drama king show like American Choppers. Now just bring Rick over.

As a motorcycle industry insider (until about three months ago), I take complete and total objection to your statement:

“Lost in the haze of bickering on the old American Chopper show was the simple fact that these guys were good for the motorcycle community.”

It was absolutely not good for the motorcycling community! It portrayed anyone who rode or worked on motorcycles as a simpleton who breaks stuff just for fun, and cannot get along with others.

I think the quoted statement shows the perspective of it’s author, in that the show was good for motorcycle retailers.

That’s cool,Vinnie rocks!

Vinnie and Rick Petko had the “real” design and bike building expertise. Paul Senior used his hard work building his metal fab. business to provide his two sons with some means of support. Paul Jr. is modestly talented as a designer, but never would have done anything without Sr. and “The Discovery Channel”. Mikey is Mikey, and I wish him well, but his goof-off slacker schtick wears thin as he hits middle age. Time to man up Mike.
They all should give thanks to Sr. for giving them an opportunity that they otherwise would never have had.

Seriously, what did happen to Cody? That was one lucky kid. I feel like in the beginning you could tell that these guys really loved making motorcycles, probably because they realized they were making money doing what they loved so it wasn’t really work. The dynamic and the mutual love of what they were creating were the main reasons I became so interested in the first place. That and I really enjoy watching a craftsman construct a piece of art. I think I stopped watching regularly when it became obvious that it was all about the dollars (mid 2nd season). There was no longer passion going into their bikes, but greed. The fact that they are starting up another show when they haven’t even been in business a year tells me that nothing has changed. I guess we’ll see…..

Bring back Junk Yard Wars…..That was a show!!!!

The real bike talent was Vinnie and Rick Petko. Paul Sr. was the driving force that used his hard work building the metal fab. business to put a modestly talented Paul Jr. to work. Mikey is kind of funny, but his \slacker, goof-off\ image wears thin as he hits middle age. Both the \boys\ should kiss the ground Sr. walks on for giving them more \fame\, and money than they probably deserve.

Great news to hear you three are back together. American Choppers was one of my favorite T.V. shows. Paul Jr. has vision beyond compare, and is a true artist. It was devastating to see Vinnie leave the show, as well as Paul Jr. , and of course everyone loves Mikey! Hope you guys patch things up with Paul Sr. , remember we are only on this planet for what seems like five minutes ,so make it count and make sure he knows how much you really do love him. I’m sure he loves you guys too. Can’t wait to see yiu guys back on T.V. (P.S.) if you guys feel the need to give a bike away keep me in mind. With todays economy the way it is i’ll never be able to afford one. I’m a fan forever Tony Deangelo.

It took both of them to get where they are. Only from Sr. having a shop to start with and Jr. developing his skill of design because of that. Sr. had to teach Jr. the basics to begin with, enough said.

Boring !!!
Is this what people want another daytime soap.
I will be in shop . . .

Yes because of OCC I started me company called Krazy Hawaiian Custom Cycle of Hilo,Hi and like paul sr. and jr. I’m starting at home right know with a custom rolling chassis business and perfection in my motto. so it’s great and I cant wait to see this new show because I was very sad to see the so go but been watching replay on discovery channel and been very loyal and made sure that me wife and kids dont bother me when I watching OCC show every week and every time it is on so thanks for the awesome new and I will be looking out for those parts from Paul jr. ALOHA AND GOD BLESS……OWNER Dru Kekaualua

What happened to Cody??

I think the break-up was a well thought out business decision. ….that will pay off big for Jr.and Sr.

Who cares, show was alright first year or two. got tired of the bickering & that POS Paul Jr showing up whenever he wanted to.

Good to hear Vinnie and Mikey will be back. Vinnie was a great asset to the show and many of us were not when he left. Mikey is what he is but we all care for him as well.
The best of luck and look forward to seeing your new creations.

I will admit that Paul Jr. has a talent for designing motorcycles. Having said that, I dont really care for his designs! I could care less to see “Mikey” because he is just a lazy sponge. Vinny was the real talent along with the guy that fabricated the gas tanks. I dont think a show with Paul Sr. having anything to do with it is going to do well because I think we have all had more then enough of the yelling and fighting and his attitude of “its all mine”. Paul Sr. would be still working out of his metal fabrication shop if it was not for his kid Paul Jr. designing the bikles he did.

This is GREAT news!! I am seriously more excited to see Vinnie…I think he was truly missed on OCC!!

YEAH!! I think that I am more excited to see Vinnie than any one, But to see them all together will be awesome!!

I miss Vin the most, that whole Mikey/Vin relationship was the was great!

Vin, if your reading… welcome back bud!

Bravo for motorcyclists !
Bravo for motorcyclists !

This is awsome news, I love those guys, and love J&P Cycles, this is one of the greatest news I’ve heard this year. Thank you all who ever made this possible.

I was an early fan of OCC but stopped being a fan when at a Myrtle Bike week, I waited on line for a meet and greet with Paul Senior and Junior and was informed that they were both charging for their autographs. End of story.

paul jr. is a jerk! talented,? sure but can’t take criticism,or realize that his Dad owns the shop!! His mother should have ate him when his bones were still soft

Well, looks like you’re touting about putting the “ole guy” out to pasture. But remember two things.
1. It was the old guy that got you where you are. If he had not taken the steps first you would still be out in the sandlot field.
2. Someday you will be old yourself and when you get put to pasture (as it seems you have done) don’t complain.

I agree with Dennis, all the Talent left with when Paul Jr left the show, Good LucK Paul Jr,Vinnie and Mickey.

I can’t say how American Chopper’s really motivated me in learning how to ride, getting my bike and wanting to learn how these amazing designs are created and fabricated with amazing talents. Family Fueds are the norm in all families but when aired on TV it makes them bigger than they really are. I truly hope they can brush it off and enjoy a new beginning. Guys it’s just one life, one chance, one father, one son – don’t fuck it up and miss out because that day we all dread will come and you won’t be able to say you’re sorry. Good luck!!!!! Just another true fan!!!!!!

Can’t wait to see Vin, Mike and Jr. together. I did miss OCC but after Jr. left he took the talent with him , bike customs were not at the level it was. Good luck Jr., Mikee and Vin can’t wait to see you.

Don’t be afraid to invite me to your opening.

As a big fan of both J&P cycles and American Chopper, this is exciting news. Really looking foward to the new line of parts.
