While the V-Twin Expo in Cincinnati focused almost exclusively on the H-D market, the following weekend’s tradeshow in Indianapolis (Dealer Expo) featured a broad range of motorcycles and products leaning towards the metric world. Below are examples of some of new items on display at this year’s Dealer Expo that J&P Cycles will be carrying in the months to come.
Performance Machine had its new “Element” wheels (left below) on display during Dealer Expo, along with an unbelievable Yamaha Raider with a “yet to be released” Vance and Hines Competition Series exhaust. Without a doubt, this bike (right below) was a crowd favorite.
Cobra had a new blacked out Honda Shadow full of brand new black accessories, including the new Cobra air cleaner which will also be available for the H-D models.
S&S Cycle was in the house with the wildly popular Honda Fury showing off the S&S air cleaner (that’s right folks — S&S parts for metric bikes!).
Memphis Shades had the new Bullet quick release windshield on display, which will be available in metric and H-D fitments (shown here on a Honda VTX).
Finally, there was a a revolutionary new product on display from a British company called D30 that feels like silly putty when it’s in your hands but hardens up to absorb impact hits. D30 is already being used in jackets and other riding gear, and trust me when I say you’ve never seen anything like it. Stay tuned for more on this …
