It’s official! Bike Week has begun and if you aren’t here; you are missing out!
- A boatload of entertainers and performers.
- Great food and lots of cold drinks.
- Some of the coolest people on the planet.
- Acres and acres of motorcycle parts and accessories from some of the industry’s leading manufacturers and venders (see complete list below.)
Bike Week has so much to offer that it’s nearly impossible to sum it all up in one blog entry. That’s why our team will be blogging about Bike Week through the next week or so, giving everyone who can’t make it to Daytona a bird’s eye view of all the stuff that’s worth knowing.
If you’re able to make it here, be sure to visit our Destination Daytona location in Ormond Beach, which you can see from the images below has been transformed into one of the hottest places to be during Bike Week.
You should also take the time to visit Main Street/Beachside (central), deemed “the most popular biker street in the world!” Once there, you’ll find more vendors, live entertainment, food and loads of fun.
The Harley-Davidson® Expo on Beach Street (downtown) features the official H-D® Traveling Museum. The Daytona International Speedway is another must see when you are in the area. Outside the speedway, you can test ride the latest motorcycles with free demo rides and more!
At J&P Cycles during Bike Week, you can hook up with Auto Gem, Z1R, Saddleman, Headwinds, Battistini, Rivera, Daytona Twin Tech, Scala Rider, Airhawk, Zox Helmets, Barnett, Memphis Shades, Mustang, Metzler Tires, National Cycle, Bell Helmets, Butt Waxx, Hogtunes, Medallion, Cobra and Arlen Ness. Our showroom is packed with the largest selection of parts, accessories, apparel, and gift items.
Bike Week, which runs through March 7, 2010 is just starting, so it’s not too late to ask for some time off, pack your saddlebags and head down south. For those in the cold north, you can do it too, (you just need an airplane ticket and a great place to rent a bike once you’re here.)
